  • AWWWSOME Video!!!!!

  • Woah

  • fuckin awesome

  • 1st, did it come back down, and how was it found?

  • You definitely had to get FAA clearance for that.

  • Great idea how to send a message to humanoid :D Or alien :D

  • do we still need a passport to get in the space even that rocket??

  • This is incredible!

    -Cole

  • LOL!!!!!! that is awesome!!

  • Absolutely amazing! I launched Estes rockets when I was a teen..60's...but never thought this was possible! You gotta sell tickets for us poor earth-bounders to come watch! Great job!

  • I might be wrong, but even Iran cannot do this.

  • put a hamster on it <3 "only a small step for a hamster, but a great step for hamsterity"

  • Houston, we've Run out of Fuel...

  • Is it possible for a model rocket to go all the way to orbit?

  • @MrBennetzen in theory yes but it would require a guidance system and a lot more fuel to achieve orbital velocities.

  • how did you know where to find it

  • @MrGlitchmachine they had a gps on it

  • That is stunning!!!!

  • What if you hit a plane?

  • sick!!!

  • fuckin awesome

  • wow that is awesome!!!

  • 121,000 ft in 2:04 Second WOW.

  • this is so cool

  • 1:50 Lol what is that

  • Edge of space babyyyyyy!

  • I bet the 6 thumb down are from people that are su yealus

  • Is it safe to use electronic yet

  • incredibile!!!!!!!! whoooooo awesome!!!!!

  • Wow it's fucking beautiful :O

  • wow.. how'd you find it after it fell?

  • did you have to get permission for that?

  • @harrygallag Oh don't tell me you wouldn't like to make those guys from NORAD get a little mixed up..

  • maybe a noob question but how do you know where it is going to land and how far away from the launch pad did it land ??

  • Awesome job!!

  • Nice job I love how the spin of the rocket is rotating perfectly smooth the get a good view of the earth

  • what kind of fuel did you use?

  • @jb13611 Did U use Nitrous Oxide (NO2) and rubber or PVC?

  • Wow. Heluva job.

  • WTF

  • dont you ever get scred that that huge ass rocket will hit a bird or plane or somthing?

  • Nice! If you made that rocket yourself, you should work for Nasa. I bet they would be impressed if they saw this.

  • You guys should be in charge of NASA!

  • u can see the lake on google maps :O

  • Is it legal to launch a rocket the can climb to 121,000ft ? Did you have to get clearance from a US Government agency?

  • When do you plan to land man on the moon? I volunteer to be your first astronaut. You have big things ahead of you. Create a space program. I will sign up.

  • Jesus H christ. 100+G takeoff? lol

  • @DBDMotorsports That's what I was thinking. It must have been well built to withstand it's own G-forces.

  • I'm in space, must see everything!

  • Is this legal ?

  • @onche93 yes

  • Better than Nasa, a fraction of the price. Let's start over here.

  • Amazing... you are great.

  • How did you get back your camera ?

  • @EricFlt they didn't they had the footage being recorded live via. wireless transceiver

  • piece of shit

  • @zzztubazzz fail troll is fail

  • Wow! Very cool...

  • А мы потом думаем, или они боеголовку ядерную запустили или просто балуются =)

  • This video = Awesome

    .

    .

    good day sir

  • Tape one of theses to my back and we are good to go! :D

  • I wanted to see the trip down!!!

  • There is no disputing this is very high but i have my doughts that its 121,000 as there is no air at this altitude and you can clearly hear air all the way up

  • @RotorHead2652 Before you made your statement did you make the effort to read all the info? Probably not. If you had checked you would have seen that this was the shortened version. Right? Did you view the full version? I doubt that. If you had you would have found what you're hearing is not the wind, but the last of what's left in the engine burning away. No discernible thrust, but burning never-the-less. When that's gone, there is no sound until more atmosphere is available to be evident. 8-)

  • this is world record maybe is the best to this high.

  • I love this. What type of fuel you use. Was it gun powder or what? Thinking making this little bigger and making it a SRB for my rocket.

  • Incredible stuff! I'm assuming that government approval was needed for launching a rocket into the upper stratosphere? Was the airspace around you cleared, or did you just launch and hope that you wouldn't bring down any planes?

  • i never thought it would be so fast 3 seconds and its already above clouds

  • I THINK I CAN SEE MY HOUSE!!!!

  • so few views? this is amazing!

  • lol did it ever come down lol you can make your own mission to the moon maybe, but no way back lol

  • cool i like this video

  • funny cloud at 1:02

  • fair play!!!!!!!!!!

  • welcome to space. awesome vid.

  • That was cool strap a cat to one next time

  • @PRSwannaB hahaha thats lol

  • @PRSwannaB

Two cats. One would unbalance it.

  • wait how was it hovering there... you dont escape gravity after like 600 miles

  • @gregod10 it going over mach 5 it will take a while for it to slow down and start falling

  • Wow that is cool!

  • Wow! Totally Awesome! Great vid.

  • What is that in meters?

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion

    36,880.8 meters

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion Very high

  • :( why not in 500 m explosion :D

  • c o o l

  • Knock! Knock! Knock! We're from Homeland Security; we'd like to ask you a few questions.

  • that was completely F awesome ! and to see the curve of the earth. dam ! you guys did Good.

I wonder where that landed. and did military radar pick it up for 2 F - 14 fighter jets to be scrambled h ha ha ha. dam that was awesome.

  • oha! haha cool

  • Anyone else feel like they were moving upwards at 0:48?

  • @jamietee89 Yeah I did! It was like a dream I once had. I got a weird gut feeling.

  • thats so cool, espacialy with the camera on the rocket!

  • how did he get the camra back

  • did anyone else see the plane in 1:15

  • uhhhhh amaeur????

  • reminds me of portal 2...SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!

  • i would have put 3 stages on that thing make it go to low-earth orbit

  • Whoa- that sucka put out a lot of thrust, for a long time!!

  • How did they know it is 121? Did it fall back to earth and they had an altimeter? What a cool video

  • The Iranians should be asking these "amateurs" on how to build rockets. SHEESH! Great job guys!

  • SPACE!!!!! SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  • shit my camra is stuk in spase

  • Great video. Thanks for uploading it was a pleasure to watch several times.

    Astra

  • that was like out of the earths atmosphere in like 20 secs.

  • this video is top class :)

  • Awesome! Haters gonna suck orbital dicks.

  • I love this video!!

  • RIP Headphone users.

  • Damn it's fast

  • Shit!

    This is space!!! 1:40

    LOL

    Nice rocket!

  • @julas2ziom at 1:58 aliens

  • @julas2ziom xd not yet, you can hear air passing along the rockets body ;) so not in space ;)

  • Fake

  • @JavMac11 Moron

  • mafakin SPACE!

  • any one wanna tell me how this dude got his camera back?

  • @TheExp420 it landed 3 miles from the launch location and it had a GPS tracker

  • Any idea what the high pitch sound is at about 2:00 ?

  • @Postie218 It's soooo cool! There's no air up there, so the deeper sound waves are dropping off, leaving the high freq. sounds left to hear.

  • @thirdimage I realize that, but it seems the rocket is at apogee when you hear the sound. Is it the last of the motor, or a part of the airframe making noise ?

  • @Postie218 i believe it's the very last of the fuel being used up

  • Wow!

  • That was SO COOL!

  • did you get it back

  • Impressionante!!!

  • What kind of permits do you need to acquire for this, if any?

  • @keyvet that was my main question after watching this. I would guess they need the FAA to approuve the launch in order to clear the sky in the vicinity for a while. That permit must have been hard to get. The FAA in turn warns the Airforce and Homeland.

  • My estes alpha one was not quite as impressive.

  • This is beyond Awesome!

  • beautiful!

  • Why didn't u go on LDRS you would of kicked ass

  • Redbull is going after the highest skydive @ 121,000' ... I think you all should hook up with Redbull & make it interesting! Double Jeopardy type thing, oh ya~

  • Woooooooowww

  • Fake. 0_0

  • 23 miles in one minute. That's the express train baby.

  • This was fantastic!

I would like to see the rest also.

  • 121,000 FEET = 23 MILES.

    Nice video, thanks for posting.

  • how thin the layer is that protects the earth...

  • OMG.

  • I would love to see an amateur rocket orbit the earth! Then we could send up file servers in space and create our own unrestricted internet!

  • WOW TOTALLY KOOL TO MUCH FUN!!! HATERS FUK OFF!!!

  • YouTube + Google earth = that's pyramid lake + u launched from black rock desert, NV

  • Fake

  • @alnilam66 you think?

  • ok

  • top!! absolut useless and expensive

  • which type of fuel is used?

  • i like this video

  • So how much did that fun set you back?

  • Hmm, its impressive, but I don´t believe that this are 121,000 ft. If you compare this footage with the Lockheed u2- 70,000ft flight, then you can see, that earth must look much rounder at this height...But still very cool stuff. First time I saw that good quality pictures from a on-board-rocket-cam...

  • where was this lauch site?

  • Very much WOW very imprest.

  • amatuer??

  • Great !

  • Nice video. What kind of fuel did you use?

  • Comment removed

  • WOW FANTASTIC!

  • i want one of those. i'd really like to have one

  • "wow thats low like mayby 1 foot" i say sarcastically

  • Lift off much?

  • so going from 0 to max speed and back to 0 in speeds , then i believe the top speed was 200000 FPM or 2200MPH or 3500KMH so mach 3.5

  • so 75 seconds 121000 feet is 121000 divide by 75 multiply by 60 is a average of 96800 feet per minute fpm. lets say 23 miles divide by 75 multiply by 3600 is a average speed of 1104 MPH. lets say 37 kilometer divide by 75 multiply by 3600 is an average speed of 1776 KMH

  • where did you find it?

  • Impressive!

  • Holy crap lol awesome video
