  • That is so sad. Just because Jane hd given birth to a son that Anne and Catherine didn't, she wasn't supposed to die. She was soo kind and loving, but I prefer Anne instead. But I don't mind at all, this was totally heartbreaking.

  • back then the average life expectancy as low as the mid 20's, she lived a long a prosperous life by their standards in a world full of shit. as dicked up as that may sound

  • Anyone know what is playing @ 2:10? - very powerful and beautiful

  • @MACABREMARIPOSA it's the theme of jane's death "A Howling Wilderness" :)

  • Does someone know the lyrics of this piece?

  • This scene breaks my heart in 1000 pieces...Jane Seymour was his only true love...I'm sure...And i know that King Henry sometimes is an idiot but,i think he is beautiful...Really...But his personality...Whatever...I liked Anne Boleyn (His second wife) very much, although she was sometimes silly. But she was a good queen...And for this i hate King Henry...But at Jane Seymour's death.I cried with him...She was the best queen of all he ever had...And she gave King Henry his long-awaited son..

  • Jane was the only one who Henry really loved. He never felt sorry with any wife when she died but Jane! It's too bad that she dies. She was the queen of hearts!!

    Too bad, too bad.

  • The Tudors Season 3 Soundtrack - Track 15: A Howling Wilderness/The Death Of Jane Seymour

  • why did she die ?

  • @Oesterreich1156 Due to infection during childbirth sadly

  • Not trying to be mean but Henry your daughters needed their mother's too. And you took them away from each other.

  • i lost it when he said my son needs his mother :(

  • I Love this Soundtrack. Poor King. I loved Jane. I cried! His words are amazing.

  • poor henry, the only woman he loves died on natural way

  • This scene is breathtakenly beautiful!!, Love the music, Gave me chills, easily the best scene in all of the tudors episodes.

  • i cried when jane died. she was my favourite of henry's queens. he really truely loved her before she gave him a son. its heart breaking that out if all the the queens that stood beside him, the one that died of natural causes was the one he would of lived with til the day he died.

  • ...there is an English Folk Song called "The Death of Queen Jane" about Queen Jane Seymour, it is on YT, by different artists...

  • To be honest the only one i feel sorry for is Edward and not Henry. If you just look at what he did to his first two wives he actually deserved this. I think God punished Henry by taking Jane's life, for killing Anne and removing KoA from her daughter. I feel sorry for Edward because he had to grew up without his mom just like Elizabeth. Karma is a bitch Henry! Oh and sorry for my bad english

  • :'( so heartbreaking... why did she have to die... alongside anne she's my favourite :(((

  • out of 6 wives, 3 died. what a good husband to only make it to one of the funerals.... and i know he condemed the other two so he didn't plan on going to any of their executions but he didn't have to marry jane on the day of anne's death. katherin's death, well, she DID cheat on him and admitted it so not expected he would want to go to her execution

  • @gemgen101 Not even for funerals. He never went to the funeral of Catherine of Aragon, and forbid Mary to attend it. He was playing tennis when Anne Boleyn was beheaded and he did not attend the death of Catherine Howard either. He did not deserve his wives.

  • Didnt he choose elizebeth to rule even though he had sons? srry ive only watched seasons 1 and 2 :)

  • @TOEJAMANDCREAM No, He chose Edward as his successor. Edward chose the Lady Jane Grey as his successor (aka the nine days' queen) after she was executed Mary ascended the throne and only after Mary's death was Elizabeth Queen.

  • la jane a pesar de q tenia sus virtudes jamas sera la mitad de buena reina y mujer q fue ana,,

  • The choir kicking in always brings me to tears. It's like England is singing Jane's theme, saying goodbye one last time...

  • Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find This Music??...I Love It.

  • @Wazupdaddiiz74 The music starting at :41 and going to the end is a single track called "A Howling Wilderness/Death of Jane Seymour" from the Season Three OST. I know for sure you can find it on amazon, but I bet it's on itunes as well :)

  • @minicolster Despite Edward creating his own succession act on his death bed (naming Jane Grey as heir) he was not of testatory age to do so. Jane Grey was never recognized by both bodies of power needed to coronate a Queen, the Parliament and the Privy Council and thus was never officially made Queen.

  • @minicolster I suppose you could, technically say that Jane Grey was Queen by claim. But it was very weak at best, widely considered illegitimate and was a direct violation of law as outlined in King Henry VIII’s Third Succession Act that specifically named Mary and Elizabeth (his daughters) as the next and rightful heirs to the thrown in the absence of no heirs to Edward (his son) and as such ultimately led to her and her husbands trial and execution for treason for trying to usurp the thrown

  • His son actually was king. A short while yes, but king non the less. Mary, his first born daughter reigned after his early death.

  • @TemplarVictis with lady jane grey for 9 days in between them

  • man oh man, after all the work henry did to get a son, he finally got one. but lost the love of his life in the process. to top it all off, he didnt even become king :D:D:D

i dont mean to laugh. sorry baby jesus.

  • an incredible scene all around. but i think the most powerful moment is when he is standing over her body and just looks completely broken

  • In her life she was a great Lady an Queen, she only was a good step mother to to both Mary and Elizabeth. She had a great impact at court in her short time as Queen, but as with many wifes and Ladies of the time it was behind the scenes. Sadly she couldn't help stop Henrys killing sprees in the Reformation, but she did try. If she had lived and possibly had more children, makes you wonder how history would be today?!.

  • ..at the very least..the king did loved her...im not done with the other season but im looking forward to Jane's part of the series..

  • moving scene....music is so powerful!

  • Why did Jane die ?

  • @EliRaSMiLeY Infection from where they cut her open to get Edward out (I think)

  • @Carboose957naptime Oh ok.. Thanks !

  • @Carboose957naptime She died of puerperal fever. She never had the C section but she almost did!

  • @lalolp3 Like I said, I wasn't to sure

  • @Carboose957naptime she died from a puerpural fever

  • @EliRaSMiLeY of puerperal fever

  • Does anybody Know where the chapel scene was filmed?

  • Please... Don't go, Please! That killed me.

  • Jane is so beautiful

  • @lalolp3 well she was obviously more appealing than anne of cleves in any case, otherwise henry would not have noticed her in the slightest.

  • @peacedesertrose Anne of cleaves was not that ugly... If you spend as much time as i do studying this stuff u would know that yes she was not pretty but she also bruised Henrys ego when they first met so he was upset and over exaggerated... And once again She was your average girl she wasn't like hot stuff but she wasn't unappealing... simply average.... but to todays standers she would be considered unappealing!

  • This is so heartbreaking! I never thought I'd feel sorry for Henry, he looks almost pathetic here. She really was perfect for him and now that she had secured her position with a son she would have been untouchable and would have had his love and gratitude for the rest of his life. It is sad to think of the potential lost in Jane, she was a good queen and would have been even better if she had survived. But in dying at her peak she was immortalised and no other could match her in Henry's mind

  • @maxwelldemonhandjive well in being a king you prolly never had any true friends to begin with~

  • i dont know why but when i see this scene i keep thinking "hehe thats karma for you henry" for what he did to anne. i hate it cause i really dont think that jane was just a side part of universes karma game...this scene is really beautiful though :)

  • This seen is quite sad, not because Jane herself died ( To be honest I dont much like her) but its sort of a reminder of how many married couples throughout history have gone through this.

  • @MuatioAesa

what I found sad in this scene is the fact that he was somehow honest in a way so few men are. God took the one good woman in his life, because he didn't deserve her in the first place. and I am saying that as fan of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, fan of the series. I loved him in this scene and in the series.

  • this scene make me cry always.

  • @LeN0Re18

me too, every single time and I am not a crier by nature......

  • The music of Jane's death sounded like memories, when someone is gone forever.

  • The music in this scene is so powerful.

  • @BoukenCrimson

I love the music too. Do you know where I can download the soundtrack from the 3rd and 4th season, because torrent is just not listening to me tonight, I don't know why?????

  • I am extremely impressed by the talents of the actors in this serie and especially Jonathan Rhys Meyers who I find to have incredible skills, thumbs up for your talent sir.

  • Team Jane :-) Anabelle Wallis is lovely. Better then Season 2's Anita Briem.

  • HAHAHA

"OK Comments like "Jane is whore and deserves to die" or others will be deleted..Go and write it on some Anne video or scene!"

Okay that one is so TOTALLY going to write history xD

  • first time a TV show brought tears to my eyes

  • he really loved her ! not becos she gave birth to a boy tht was just a nother thing he loved but he really loved her becos of who she was ! x

  • @MariaNKellyKellyxx

    I think so too

  • So sad :'(

  • Just beautiful scene, God bless all those who made possible this extraordinary historical work, thank you from Venezuela.

  • "Milk of human kindness" was originally from Shakespeare's Macbeth was it not?

  • you are the milk of human kindness, one word...beautiful

  • Ana bolena era mucho mejor que Jane

  • If she didn't die he would probably have her head cut off...

  • @PeterKuypers LOL exactly. when he grew tired of her, hed just get rid of her and go to the next young pretty girl x

  • It is impossible, however able the actors, to find an ounce of pity for Henry VIII.

  • @IsisTiamat Indeed, he was a despicable figure, even to the standards of those days...

  • he had a mistress while jane was more then perfect to him and then when she's dying he was finally faithful to her?.... henry is a douche...i swear.

  • Oh, poor Jane...

  • In a way Jane's death probably was the one of the biggest events in history that no one notices. Edward may bot have died, Henry may not have wed again. Elizabeth and Mary may never been crowned queen and America may never be what it is today. Jane's death may be tragic but it may have also been a blessing in disguse. rest in Peace Queen Jane Seymour-Tudor, and yes I am an Anne Boleyn fan

  • can you imagine kingdoms with queens like Jane Seymour? wow :]

  • Spectacular show.

  • i just feel so sad for henry his life is misrible i believe this wife is one of the best wifes henry ever had :'( so sad to see her die :(

  • I love the music for the last minute of the clip

  • This is a gorgeous scene,I can't wait until season 3 and 4 soundtracks are released the music is just perfect. Annabelle Wallis, for me, did a great job as Jane Seymour, I much prefered her to the Season 2 Jane Seymour who didn't come across as very likeable.

  • I love Annabelle Wallis' nose. It's nice to see she never got a nose job, as alot of actresses in America would.

  • @lacouerfairy I'm so glad someone else thinks so too! =)

  • he sounds like garra in naruto

  • I don't think Jane was ever a whore...but I don't believe that Anne was one either....I think of all queens Catherine Parr...I think she married four times.

  • @MsEnglishtea And the first three all died. That doesn't make her a whore either.

  • @LunaHanayuki08 talk about the worst luck ever! ok Catherine is alright, I feel really bad for her.

  • @MsEnglishtea Catherine Parr was married the most of all of Henry VIII's Queens. She was pretty well off as a widow when her previous husband Lord Latymer passed away prior to marrying the King. Not long after the King died, she remarried (to Thomas Seymour) and died from childbirth complications after giving birth to her first and only child (a daughter).

  • This scene shows the genius of Jonathan Rhys Meyers as an actor. We hate his characters arrogace through much of the minseries... and yet for a moment he has our sympathy. I do think that he's destined for greater acting roles in the future...

  • did they change someone else to be Jane bc when she was under Anne she was way more different then in this season. thats just me

  • @Ryokomalfoy yes they did in season 2 she was played by Anita Briem and in season 3 she was played by Annabelle Wallis

  • DAMN IT, this piece of music is DIVINE! I don't understand why they haven't released the soundtrack for season 3 yet.

such a touching scene, maybe the best in all the series and certainly the highlight of season 3. apart from that and Jane's scenes in general, I didn't like that season so much. Anne Boleyn's death scene was amazing too.

  • Such a sad scene. Poor Henry

  • This was an heart touching scene but so was Anne Boleyn's execution scene neither of them were whores.

  • The most moving scene of the series. Katherine Howard's death being second. "Whore" comments notwithstanding, live on Catherine of Aragon, the only TRUE Queen of the lot! "Sic semper tyrannis!", to you Henry, you evil bastard!

  • Yes it's true dear jane she was his true love he lived with her happily but he definitely doesn't deserve that happiness at all !

  • The Swedish history is nothing compared with the brittish. King Henry VIII maybe wasn't the best ruler, but one thing is true: He truly loved Jane Seymour.

  • @AlbaFlavius I disagree. He loved anything/anyone that he could have his way with. If he couldnt, "Off with ye heads"

  • From records at the time Henry was not that bothered about her death as she produced what he wanted - a son!

  • @BRUTUALTRUTH Actually he was bothered by her death. He became depressed and locked himself up in his rooms feeling sorry for himself. He wrote to King Francis "divine providence hath mingled my joy with bitterness of the death of her who brought me this happiness." He was happy that he had his son now, but he was quite devestated by her death.

  • @mikafanatic3000 While I respect your view on that, there are reports that he was actually furious Jane had died. Whether that is down to grief or just being a cold-hearted monster is difficult to decipher. I tend to think the man did not know love. He He happily had his wives butchered on the block and was willing to shed the blood of his friends as he saw fit. 15th century England was a better world when this evil vile mass murdering homocidial piggy-eyed maniac

  • @mikafanatic3000 when he died!

  • @StellaBellaOla @StellaBellaOla

First!I meant to go and write that Jane was whore on some video where there is commenting Anne's death ,because of Jane.

Second!I was just planning to delete it: )) Thank you for reminding me!

  • Comment removed

  • @StellaBellaOla I agree ppl need to realize that everything that went on with Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour was all in God's plan. They should think about it in that way , also Jane Seymour brought Henry's daughters back into life..which he needed.

  • @Mrstrohj

she was a true angel and he didn't deserve her. why is it that so many people forget to respect and love the ones in their life who make their life better ? it is only when they are gone that they see what they lost.

  • someone please please please tell me the name of this song!!!

  • The music in this scene is so beautiful. I wish I'd hit "Keep" and saved it to my DVR because it's a beautiful scene. I enjoy The Tudors the same way I enjoy a book of historical fiction. Based on fact but with creative "license". I make no judgments about Henry and his queens. But Henry DID know that Katherine Howard "ran a bit wild" before she met him. He married her anyway. I can do WITHOUT the torture scenes. I'll miss JRM and Henry Cavill (sp?) in these roles after series ends.

  • this is beautiful

Im so proud to be British. No other nation comes close to us

  • @terder123 Yeah, British history is fascinating although I wouldn't go as far as to say no other nation comes close to it. But that's cool you are proud of your nationality :) Take care

  • They were so in love it is so sad he had to lose her! I turley believe jane was his true first love.

  • @PreggoLady333 i think jane was his TRUE love bcuz she gave him the son he wanted but i think katherine of aragon was his firts true love becuz he had the love for her when he first saw her when he was just a boy of ten and had dreams and desires to marry her himself. for on KOA wedding day to to henry's brother he had the spotlight on HIM thinking it was he who looked like he was marrying her not escorting her to the groom.

  • Oh, gosh I remember crying when this first showed and now I am again x_x

  • such a sad scene... although the way he says i need my queen nearly made me laugh! it's so weird.

  • Jane Seymour is the only woman Henry ever loved. In real life too. In the whole serie she is the only Queen I really liked :)

  • You know I think that no one actually sees him as human, because in all truths Henry the VIII was just a human being. I have read a lot of history about the Tudors and to tell you the truth, it seemed that he really fell for Anne and then she broke him by cheating on him and then with Jane, he thought he found love again and well she died. Yes he wanted a heir, but he also wanted a woman who he truly loved, not just the wife of his brother or the woman who betrayed him.

  • Jane was nice and all...she really didn't deserve to die. Anne didn't deserve to die either, but Katherine Howard did...

  • @Icefarie101 I hope you mean by the standrads of the day. Cos Catherine Howard dying for that these days is a bit harsh. And when you think about it like that Anne deserved it too, you upset the king and its kinda expected you get killed - wife or not wife, thank goodness we've moved on from there - but i wish we still got to wear those dresses ;)

  • RIP Jane Seymour. She wasn't a complete doormat as we're led to believe. She was kind to Mary after years of mistreated at the hands of Anne Boleyn, and she did other things too. Jane could have been a great queen and a great mother if she had lived.

Also, a lot of people commenting on these videos need to go read the real history rather than believing all the crap they spout on The Tudors or any other movies/shows.

  • I cried so much during this scene, it was so sad and beautiful

  • @nuranijasmine I apologize but first keep the good voice, second read the description!I can mark your comment for racist SPAM... Please!

  • @Destenation94 It's not okay for people to comment bad things about your video, but it's okay for you to put "go write it on some Anne video" in the description? Yeah.. makes sense.... don't do that.

  • This is beautiful

I am so proud to be British. Our strong, rich and powerful history is second to none.

  • @terder123 i agree british history is strong, second to none not so sure. our american history is pretty powerful to

  • @nuranijasmine NO ONE deserved to die and the "yanks" aren't saying anything against Elizabeth or Anne. And it also wasn't BECAUSE of Elizabeth that American came to be...

  • hahahahahaha! Henry viii deserved that the barstod! he is a big jerk!

  • Jane was just like Anne, a pawn in her families gain for power, position and wealth.

The Seymours were a very powerful family. It was unfortunate for them that the King wanted them either as a mistress or a mother to his son. The one that gave him a living, healthy son would of been the one most secure in her position.

  • @Saffron49 AGREED

  • Sure, Protestants are great reformers. They gave us the Puritans, Calvinists, Anabaptists and Pentecostals, all of whom hanged witches and said that everybody but they were going to burn in Hell. Protestants also gave us the Episcopalians, Methodists and Congregationalists with their segregated hospitals, schools and country clubs, and of course, let us not forget that hallowed Protestant institution known as the KKK (no Koons, Kikes or Katholics!)

  • @ligreekguy and you act like Catholics are totally innocent? Catholics also did many of the same things Protestants did, but I respect the Protestants more because they've shaped up and many of the denominations have women pastors. Neither side is without fault, as the Church is full of sinners. If you read your BIble it says 'all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.' Why are the Catholics so innocent?

  • Beautiful piece of music. Anne and Jane shared the fact their families manipulated them. Their deaths were tragic and their brother's fates as well. Jane's son would sit on the throne for 6 years and Anne's daughter for over 40.

  • I don't have anything against Jane but she's boring. I feel bad she essentially gave her life to give Henry a son but I don't put her on a pedestal or anything. I don't buy she was as sweet and innocent as some people think. On the other hand it was just as Henry deserved.

  • and i meant miscarridges boutt he last part bout anne boylen lol

  • Btw i do think this a very touching moement and brings tears to my eyes every time...=[[

  • Maybe its just me or dose anyone else think he had this comming after he ignored/emotionaly abused and abanded also banished his 1st wife and killed the 2nd as well as cheated on them both and treated them so cruley that janes death in some way was "karma" seince catherine of aragon felt like henry died after he abandid her and anne boylyn felf un justified and couldent help that her still borns wernt boys except 1?

  • in my earlier comment i meant that...I would be lying by syaing that jane WASN'T a good queen....sorry i just had a typo
