There's something really odd going on with the subscriptions. I've had two that I've only picked up from bulletins, and the hit rate for videos I've posted has been slower than normal. I've also noticed my notifications are suspiciously quiet.

I guess YT has to have at least one major glitch running at all times. Maybe this is the new one.

Thanks! It really helps to try to interview people...A lot of time, that was the only conversation I had with people. That way, the footage gives me a better understanding of the person vs. just watching us all react to something that's happening.

It's not so much the clarity of my camera (which helps) but I render it at 640 x 480 with high quality. It takes about 3 hours to upload those larger files, but it gives me the hi-quality option which really makes the world of difference for footage like this. See you on 888! :)

She really has a great sense of humor too. Jenn and I were each other's safety nets over the weekend, hanging out the entire time. She brought her song along (Cam) who had a great time too. It was as if I was just hanging out with some friends. Cam even used my hotel swimming pool and raided my hotel refrigerator (I brought a bunch of food along). It was cool!

I think you've over-estimated what's required for hi-res. I get the hi-res option for 10 MB videos I shot in 640 x 480 on a compact camera. All YT hi-res means is that it comes out the way you see it in editing, not all messed up like YT makes it. There's no need to upload a 1080 HD 900 Meg file, the monitor couldn't display it anyway.

I'm so glad you had a 'buddy' there. It stops the nerves of walking in solo. LOL - how was the mini-bar bill?! (I always bring supplies to hotels too.)

Actually, what i found out is that to get the hi-res option, you need it to be 640 x 480. On my Mac, the default is .mov, which spews out large files. On my latest video, it was over 200 MB (for a 5 minute video), and I never even got the hi-res option. I Just don't get this site!

And no mini-bar bill! Because I drove to the gathering, I packed a cooler filled with Wisconsin cheese and sausage and a cooler full of micro-brewed beer! :)
