@deadheadfan71 thanks man ! i started playing bass so i'm used to slapping, but not the way he and others do it. it helped though. i focused on his stuff and john mayer's slapping technique - his is a bit tougher in my opinion though. that'll get you used to playing the melody on the higher strings while slapping the low notes.
