  • Now...When you catch your breath...Mow the lawn and wash the dishes...You are lucky I'm tired or I would have given you what you deserve!! Might as well say the most horrible things you can think of...They sure do a good job with the victim role...Ok. Time to spank one out now. Turned me on...haha!!

  • 1:27 POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

  • That was out of order. I hope he apologized by way of hard make-up sex immediately afterwards.

  • I wouldnt mind some Keira ' nightly ' * Round of applause * Thank you

  • Well thats what happens when the peas touch the mash potato

  • @BiddaBiddaCherryPie I just choked on my otter pop, haha. As a woman, I thoroughly enjoy the kitchen jokes, but I get tired of the sammich ones. Thanks for that :)

  • @anolds24 Your welcome lol

  • Really sick comments on this video!

  • There are some disgusting commetns on this ad :( x

  • freepatriotismDOTcom

  • @kdavidmcd why dont you just do the world a favour and jump off a mountain

  • well fuck women'a aid no one helped my mum

  • @maphonesbroken Well,

why don't you try helping someone else's mom?

Unfortunately everyone isn't able to get help in time,

but you could still be a light in someone's darkest hour.

Of course you don't have to help anyone, you could blame

them for the situation they are in and say they deserve such.

After all, its only one more person that'll end up like your mom,

or it could be one less...

  • "Women's Aid?" Fuckin' swastika-waving elitist pigs.

  • I really wish they'd make more of these with other hot actresses. You can only pound one out to the same ad so many times before it loses its spank bank value.

  • @thespian75 Yeah. This one kind of turns me on. Life sucks. It's a fucking hardscrabble world.

  • Domestic violence is very shocking I was a witness in a case which involved my neighbors the boyfriend beat his girlfriend real bad and was locked up for the offense for a few weeks she dropped the charges against him & took him back since his been back I've had constant harassment from them both, it's been a nightmare for almost a year & I will have to eventually move, I do worry for her safety the violence recently happened again I feel she's scared to leave him

  • shit like this is unforgivable.

  • She didn't do anything wrong to deserve that from what I could tell.

  • Bring it over here!

  • @FridaLaReina The idea of the advert is to make people open their wallets. and they do that by showing the most shocking scenario. In terms or representing DV it's using the stereotypical idea of a man attcking a woman which isn't really fair. But in terms of how effective it is as a commerical then i think it does well and makes you want to give money .

  • .lame that was borin.... i guess u gotta evry thing urself these days

  • @FridaLaReina Yes but remember some DV is women abusing other women not just men abusing women, also many studies have concluded that women are just as violent as men, however women are more likely to be killed (although many men do commit suicide). Yes it may not be an exact 50/50 split but its much closer to that than many people think. (and then you've got to factor in false claims and mutual violence etc)

  • Wow... That was savage... And when you consider that in the UK alone there are 12.9 million violent incidents carried out against women in comparison to 2.4 million carried out against men, I think we can see the scale of the problem. Official statistics from the USA and Russia also suggest that DV is an even more significant problem there. I do agree that there should be greater awareness amongst men of DV and the issues associated with it.

  • It irritates me that domestic violence adverts only come from a 'male perpetrater, female victim' perspective. Completely ignores half the problem and thats why it'll never be solved.

  • If 1 in 4 women are affected by DV in the UK (whatever the fuck that feminist "statistic" means), then more men are, since it is more often perpetrated by females, who then cruise through court with impunity for their crimes. It was nice to watch this little piece to remind me that us men are inferior, horrible people, just like black people thought about media a couple hundred years ago, I'm sure. I hope you feminazi types are REAL fuckin' proud.

  • 1 in 4 woman are affected by domestic violence in the UK!

End the suffering of domestic violence victims Domestic violence

  • I can not believe that in a video like this people are commenting saying shit like 'oh, why not show a man being hit?' or 'women abuse children more than men.' so, that makes it right, does it? that men hit women? it does not matter. i think to even it up, there shoud be a couple of violent women ads too. But to be all picky about the gender of the victim, that really is sad. If you feel so strongy, you should get your arse out the door, off the computer, and have your voice heard.

  • @Glitcherz7 What and get laughed at and called a pussy? hahaha yeah right.

  • Hey, I'm supposed to make a short add AND movie,30-60seconds / 5-10mins long, on Gender Based Violence.

I am going to focus on child sexual abuse in street children, especially keeping in view

the young girls/boys from poor and vulnerable communities.

I don't want to make a typical documentary type movie and was wondering if you could give me some things that come to your mind regarding this topic.

Even the most mundane reply would be appreciated :).

    Thanks!

  • very clever done..and i love Keira..love her british accent..

  • @MegaTress1 ok ur an idiot. it is not that rare. i know 2 women who were seriously abused by men. this is not a message saying all men are bad! my husband is amazing and would never lay a hand on me. but SOME men do hit their wives and think its fine and the women are too scared to run. it is a problem

  • its funny or should I say sad to see people defend such actions. I was stupid too. When i was 17 i was in an abusive relationship. i made excuses for him too. it was my fault that i couldn't please him right, or that he was late for work or the car broke down. I remember the slaps and then punches, when he finally broke a bone i ran to my dad. after 7 months he broke up with me cuz he was bored with me. to this day i wonder what i did wrong? my first eveything he took, even my faith in men.

  • Come on guys, yeah women can be violent too and in some situations yes the woman be the worse one. But still that does not change the fact that women are abused by their men a lot and you cannot just brush this off as feminist propaganda. the point of the ad is not to say that women are the only ones being abused or that they are always the victim. its to say that their are abused women and we should try and stop it. Abuse of anyone is wrong, period.

  • @the3sweetest3dreamer the only picking on man because women never own them selfs till the 1970's before that women were a object to be owned and it was seen to be ok to beat your wife

  • the boyfriend was smart to smash the midsection instead of the face, she can still get acting gigs if her face remained intact, smart dude.

  • that was so powerful..something needs to be done.

  • What did she do wrong? Why did he hit her? She clearly was in the kitchen.

  • she is such a good actress, that felt so real it was horrible D=

no woman or man should be treated that way!

  • NO ONE deserves this kind of treatment, nor should anyone believe that abuse is normal or something one deserves!!!

  • @67stillme hahahahaha, i find abuse so stupid and unacceptable, i cant imagine how it would feel for a woman to come home every night knowing the one she loves might hurt her despicable. I would never do such a thing.

  • So its dangerous to have a relationship with a woman in britain ! Wow use a prostitutes then instead? Chuck em when your done lol

  • LOL this video is AWESOME. Serves her right for not having dinner ready when he got home. The only thing he did wrong was slap her instead of giving here the fistfull of punishment she deserved.

  • @inquester87 ARE YOU SICK? He is the ashole ,the murderer and you think this is ok? You are either a stupid shit or you are sick in your mind. THIS IS WROMG SO WRONG! and how can you eaven say what said? Burn in hell

  • @inquester87 your weird.

  • @inquester87 DUDE

that was totally out of line!!

    is something WRONG with you?

  • @rashmika10 Whats wrong with YOU. Clearly dinner wasn't prepared for him when he got home. Next time the lasagna will be done on time

  • @inquester87 ok you are seriously....sick.

i think maybe you should get help? because it is not funny to joke about such things.

i feel sorry for your family, if they have to put up with people like you.

  • I hate the excuse men use to beat up women "She's bad to me, she cheats ect" Leave her then... If she treats you so badly leave her, don't back hand her round the face. Be a man and do you right thing.

  • Banned in the UK. Real life around the world. Domestic violence KILLS. Not a joke buddy. I worked in the trenches for ten years and I know what happens behind closed doors and this shows only a small bit of the violence that happens to women every day.

  • thats what you get when you dont listen. just pay attention and no one will get hurt

  • @filthyfew77 That is horrible. To blame the woman for not listening is absolutely disgusting. You are the reason that domestic violence is still a part of society.

  • @with1ovecassie sometimes you gotta straighten up these ho´s. how else are they gonna learn

  • This is sad ):

  • It's terrifying to think that this truly happens and disgusting for anyone to think someone deserves it, man or woman. I hope people start speaking up for men as well because no one thinks of the men that are also being abused by women. (Btw I am a woman who has been through abuse but I'm not blind to the fact that women aren't always the victims)

  • @English3Muffin your absoultly right about that , women are absuers too

  • @English3Muffin

MY own mother when through abuse. Woman DO NOT abuse men. The man can push her away or fight her off as much as it sickens me to admit it, men are usualy stronger than woman. Besides, the man probably deserved it. I do not hate men, but I hate that people claim woman abuse men.

  • @Rikku2250 i'm terribly sorry about your mother. i cant imagine what that must have been like. and you are right, men are usually stronger then women. and although nearly all cases of domestic violence involve female victims, there are some cases where the men are the victims. unfortunately its not just women who are treated this way.

i am in no way discrediting what your mother went through, i just think its unfair to ignore the other victims

  • @SpiritOfTheWolf1995

Some peopel have told me to 'get over it' as I did not happen to me. It kidn of did though, as Iwas in her stomach while it happened. She had to crawl across a road to contact the emergency services when I was being born forteen weeks earily. And then, when my borther was born a year later...he throw us all out. I was in the newspapr to my survival of my early birth, and that I was the first baby in the West of Scotland to receive laser eye treatment. He easily hid it.

  • If I ever meet the prick again, I may just stab him. And my older Half-sister knows nothing of this and apprently, she thinks he is a nice man (I last met her at four).

I just do not understand how a woman can abuse a man. I really do not. If I know how it were possibe, perhaps I would be mor enclimed to believe it, even though I maintain the believe that the man could get out of it.

  • @Rikku2250 If you think about it though, the good men learn that being aggressive towards a woman is wrong, and therefore find it hard to fight a woman off because that does mean grabbing her or shoving her. Women will abuse for the same reason a man will: to let off their anger and to have control. Have you not noticed that it is common to see women slapping men when they're angry and cheered on for doing it, but that if a man does it, it is viewed as horrific? Think about it.

  • @Rikku2250 What it comes down to is abuse is wrong. NO ONE has the right to hurt another no matter the reason. We are all better people for walking away from negative situations and rising above it. My heart goes out to all who have ever been abused.

  • @Rikku2250 Your comment in itself is an abuse to men. Stop portraying men as monsters, and that they all deserve being punished because they are stronger. And these videos that show men as completely out of reason, like beasts that are just waiting for the woman to arrive to beat them without motive. It's just wrong. Violence happens when there is an argument or offence. And yes, there are women that abuse men. So now that you hate me are you going to abuse me?

  • i would beat the piss of out of this guy sooo bad, he will need a face transplant !!!

  • We watched this in school, it's really upsetting that this actually happens :(

  • ive been through this and i was only 15 at the time and it went on for 2 years. howvever much i hate my abuser i wouldnt even wish what he did to me upon him. its awful and for anyone to think its right, then all i can say is if you experienced it, only then you can say if its "right" or not. some things never leave you...

  • She's a brilliant actress.

  • Oh man that is just....man..that is just unfair. To think that there are men or women even more violent then that guy, so creepy....

  • Do British men hit their wives? I am so sorry for them.

  • @mala108mala Don't be an idiot - there are men all around the world who hit their wives and women who hit their husbands.

  • I feel sorry for the genuine cases of Violence against woman which I observed as a child of my father and mother. I do take offence to the group who support woman, like my ex-wife who has been proven as a liar in court, caught her in between the legs of my neighbour, went onto another neighbour and destroyed her family and marriage and Woman's Aid Supports her! Joke!

  • very intense

  • If I didn’t fall pregnant I would of still been with my partner and having a hardship abusive relationship till this day, But realising you cant bring a child into this world like that, I found the courage to leave, But luckily for me I had good friends and family who helped me through it, Many people don’t have that option and don’t see a way out! <3

  • @charliesbitch4eva Good for you. I'm glad you lived to tell the tale so to speak. I've never experienced it but it must have been terrifying for you. Good on you for having the courage and strength to escape and thank God for your family and friends who helped you.

  • I wonder when she will make a video about the 50% of domestic violence against men. Being a feminist she obviously is all about equality and fairness.

  • what is so crazy is that this shit really happens...that just blew my mind...

  • my dad did the same with me and my mum. so thank you keira for this movie, hopefully people learn from it.

    greets from germany

  • Brilliant ad!

  • Still peddling this shite video that makes out that it's all male on Female violence ! You havent got a fucking clue ! When I start seeing balanced videos that show men equally being victims, then I'll respect that ! Everything is there for female victims . . .What help is there for male victims . . . The police told me to call the fucking samaritans ! :(

  • Part 1 May I state that men are also sufferers of dv however in proportion to women it is miniscule and when it results in loss of life less than one a year it receives massive publicity. As regards the flip comment "she should have made him a sandwich" I hope his partner is aware of this comment as I think she should be,

  • however with this attitude I presume he has neither!!! Also re the rainbowrapist (strange title) as regards men v women reporting DV check the statistics that can not lie, how many women v how many men die as a result of DV in a year, I know my sister was one victim, please all support the fight against DV malevfemale or vice verca and if you do not have a valid sensible comment do not post it.

    Ian

  • The mistake she made there was not immediatly making him a sandwich.

  • i think that any man that really does this to a women should go straight to hell, its horrible, just evil.

but sometimes women do act more victimised than what they really are, like if you break up with ur girlfriend its all of a sudden your fault. its like "what?"

  • @weirdproductions09 thats..totally different hon, some girls may be exagerrative when it comes to relationships, but this is so different from a breakup

  • Oh my gosh!!! that is something no one should go through, seeing something like this gets you to think about both women and men who go through it.

  • omg such a powerful ad!!

i never realy was a keira fan but my opinion is changed she is amazing!!

    xx

  • womens aid are evil marriage breakers

  • always the same men r always demonised by the fuckin neo feminist media

  • You don't know what you're talking about.

  • yeah i do its called having an opinion and i think the media r always shoving things like this in ur face how bad men are, never anything a woman does ur all just victims arent u, now go to bed its a school night you chav

  • @TheSparkle7 woah, woah, woah! The majority of domestic violence cases are the women being abused. The media isn't shoving anything in anyone's faces, there simply giving women AND MEN a resource and encouraging people to leave the abusive situations. Never have I seen a domestic violence comercial say "how bad men are", those are your words and your words only. They are not generalizing abusive men with decent men.

  • Wrong. The majority of cases that get reported and prosecuted involve female victims. Male victims are far less likely to report it (men are expected to be tough) and even if it is reported, it may not taken seriously by the police. So really, you're going by padded statistics from a society with double standards (of which these videos do reinforce), when some experts suggest that women do hit men just as much or even more.

  • You're sounding ignorant. Yeah, you're allowed to have an opinion. But men always cry "Omg women are bad too!" of course they are. But more women than men suffer from domestic abuse. There is a big difference. Who are you calling a chav? What right do you have to call me a chav? I don't even live in the UK. You're the one sounding like a chav.

  • lynn i think u r a chav, go type in vicky pollard little britain thats u haha, anyhow seriously keira knightley deserves to get hit for her crimes against acting

  • Actually this would be more correct if Bruce Willis came home and was wacked. Men get abused too.

  • I agree. Men *do* get abused as well. Domestic violence hurts both men and women alike.

  • No. That men remain a victim of domestic abuse does not discredit the fact that a small but significant proportion of women are terrified to return to their own homes. Ones sex is not an issue. Violence, be it domestic or otherwise is categorically wrong, and any step to prevent it is a good thing. Big up this film and any initiative to reduce the number of people who get battered on a daily basis.

  • Its very sad that this realy is happening to the womens ! But it's very nice and brave that Ketra is standing against this !

    KEIRA I LOVE YOU ! ! !

  • Disgusting antiman's film.

  • Domestic violence is wrong. Men shouldn't hit women who can't defend themselves.

But what about women who push the limit, acts like a bitch all the time (and never get tired of running their mouth) and use their gender as a shield knowing a man can't lay a hand on her? Walking away isn't always easy if they're in your life. If another man acts like this (stranger, brother, dad, friend, etc), he'd get his lights punched out or they'd get into a fight.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven Ive never hit a girl ever...i never found it in my heart to even when she attacked me all i did was protect myself

  • @dwarftn1996 Good thinking. Even if you did hit back, she could always get the cops on you, lie, and have you arrested even if you claim it was self defense. It's just hypocrisy I feel, and a huge double standard when women want to be equal to men in every way in society. But aren't willing to take it like a man would (or should expect to) for running their mouths big. I have never hit a woman either, and I don't encourage it.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven It is said that it takes a bigger man to walk away from bully than it does to retaliate. But I think that applies to any bully, not just women. I have seen women like that too. They will bully guys because they know they can get away with it and that the victims can't touch them. In my view, anyone, whether they are a man, woman, boy, girl, elderly, disabled etc, who bullies someones smaller/weaker/less advantaged than themselves is a gutless coward and a scumbag.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven

Hit the wall, leave, do whatever you have to do in order not to hit but do it. What would you say if your daughter's murderer would come with the same lame excuse: sorry, I couldn't help myself. A woman dies from domestic violence every two days. there's never an excuse for it. never. You need to do some reading about this because most of the time before the hitting starts there's a lot of emotional violence like isolating the woman, jealousy, psychological bullying.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven I'm sorry so are you saying it's only okay for a man to hit a woman if she's a bitch all the time?

  • @SL17 Only okay? Why, is there any other situations you can think of that makes it ok? If anyone-man or woman-pushes the limit, I'd say they're asking for it.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven I don't think it's okay at all. I wasn't saying it was okay by any means. I don't think it's okay for a man or woman to be hit.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven than the man should also run his mouth back...if she is verbally abusing him then he should do it back...but if she is hitting him he should leave the relationship after giving her a few chances but never should a man hit a woman!

  • @cowerth Tried that. The screaming matches went on year after year. It's just one woman but it was enough to generalize that many women are extremely stubborn. Eventually had to just ignore her to save my throat and move away to get away from her.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven But did you hit her?

  • @cowerth No, and it was admirable self restraint that I didn't.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven Good on you, and i think that all men should have this self restraint because at the end of the day men are physically stronger and losing control can lad to disasterous effects.

  • @cowerth,

Are you crazy? You're teaching that it's alright for a women to hit a man but not the other way around? My sibling went through bullying for quite a while from a girl who was physically hurting him and he wouldn't do anything because he was taught the same bull you're teaching. It is perfectly fine, and perfectly legal I might add, to hit a woman in self-defense. You have a sexist, illogical double-standard. Domestic violence is wrong, self-defense isn't.

  • @05lowell05 when exactly did i say that women should hit a man???????? GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

  • @cowerth,

You implied that if a woman hits a man, the man should just leave, but a man should never hit a women at all; you therefore in turn imply that it's more acceptable for a woman to hit a man rather than vise versa. So tell me, you think if a woman hits a man, the man should just leave, but not defend himself, but I'm guessing you also believe if a man is hitting a woman, she has the right to defend herself? That's called a double-standard.

  • @05lowell05 I didn't imply anything, i simply forgot to write vice versa. Ibeieve that neither should hit each other but as it is usually men who 'throw their weight around' I decided to talk about men. So double-standards my arse

  • @cowerth,

Well, if that's the case, then we're agreed. However, you stated that if a woman hit a man he should simply leave, and he doesn't have the right to hit back. Do hold the same standard for women? If a man were to hit a woman do you believe she should simply walk away instead of defended herself as you believe for a man?

  • @05lowell05 Yep the woman should also walk away and the matter should be taken straight to the police whether the victim is male or female.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven

What's wrong, is that women have a monopoly claim on Domestic Violence. What a crock of shit. Domestic Violence is an INTIMATE PARTNER HITTING AN INTIMATE PARTNER! Lesbians often have the highest rates.

This male vs female bullshit is a fucking code of indoctrination. Reality is complex. This simple-minded for the simple minded.

  • @Hzqi This is all fine and good, but if they ever show domestic violence in a fair perspective they'd show an ad where Bruce Willis comes home and get beaten up by his wife.

  • I feel really sorry for you if you think anyone deserves that, it's a shame your dad can't talk things out and has to be a bully.

  • The courts natural bias towards mothers has allowed my abusive ex wife to continue her abuse in using our child as a tool of hurt against me. I'm a local authority verified victim of extreme domestic abuse from a female, yet I've lost everything. My house, my child, my self respect, confidence . . . you name it ! WOMENSAID CAN GO AND SUCK !

  • no it doesnt,

im sorry about what happened to you but womensaid has helped hundreds of women escape from abusive, violent, and near fatal relationships.

  • poor keira

  • Phew..Major shiver through spine there.

  • The kicks looked really real! I wonder if they were...

  • OMG this seems so real :|

  • some people are like oh women shouldn't get involvd with men like this, actually we don't usually find out he has violent nature until it['s too late :l your can't point out who is violent in the streets

  • very sad. still kudos to my favourite actress for making more people aware.

  • She deserves a bouquet of roses for this.

  • I think their should be more videos about this, and other issues using celebs

  • nice ad, I wish they made more public awareness ads on more issues and certain cancers using Hollywood stars as the victims as it would add more shock value knowing how easy they live their lives in reality.

  • This is a good clip to watch if you're stuck for inspiration. I'm a writer, and a lot of my stories involve domestic violence. Though I do understand why it was banned. It's very upsetting.

  • inspiration?? as someone whos bin there i wouldnt call it that

  • I know exactly how you feel; I enjoy writing also, especially subjects like this. domestic violence is wrong yada yada yada, that is understood, and most television execs don't like to showcase the ugly side of life all too often. however if i were directing this, I would have liked it if he had done more.

  • I think its a good point to make but they could have done a better ad. Keira is a amazing actress but this does nothing for her ability. Excellent point made, not well made.

  • 1st time watching it and it is a brilliant add! Plz tell me its not true that they banned this! if so why? some ppl have to go threw this everyday its only telling the truth, and making more ppl aware! which i see as a gd thing as im sure many ppl do. i cant understand why anyone wud ban this!

  • ya know, its ads like this that make us aware... i don't feel that it should be banned!! this is the 1st time iv'e seen it & it made me feel rather uncomfortable, not alot does that other than those nspcc ads, they get me too, personally i would love to throw the guy around a lil bit, see how he likes it, i could never treat a girl like that & loath anybody who ever could! i'm all for this ad & would love to support these people as much as possible, nobody should ever have to go through this

  • For the people who ask how giving money will help the problem of domestic violence against women... why don't you actually go visit woman's aid website? You will find out how money from the public translates to potentially life-saving services. Let us not forget that potential demand for these services far outstrip its supply. If every woman who needed help called today most will sadly not get it. That is where your money can help. This is even before counting male victims of domestic violence.

  • Why in goods name did they ban this?

Its showing a situation that is a common occurence for some woman / men.

Banning this is basically them shunning the fact that this happens. This and more adverts like it should be shown, as it will make people pay attention to those people who find themselves in this situation. Good on Keria for doing this.

  • amazing i would do the same butslam it in he arse too

  • well done! we need to stop this.

    not later.

    not soon.

    now.

  • God...

All my hair is standing up on end. Its good that they made something like this.

  • They should show this on t.v. It shows what really happens.

  • A brilliant and deeply impacting ad - this should definitely aid to raise the issue and raise awareness, nobody has the right to abuse and beat anyone else, male or female.

  • oh my gosh that is so cool!!! like terrible, the beating her up...but the whole idea and slogan. that probably doesnt sound right...hope you know what i mean.

  • def to be aired but domestic violence does go both ways!

  • I think they should air this, but maybe after a certain time. It nearly moved me to tears at the end. Keira is such a talented actress to do this sorta thing ,it must've been quite hard.

  • NEW MUSIC VIDEO ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE...if you allow him...check it out

  • real men don't hit women

    only pussified men do

  • Pussified men don't get women because they are gay. And gay men don't hit women. Real men are the ones that like to show how masculine they are that keep on showing off. And only women that are so blind that don't see those signs when they go out with them on friday nights that fall for them and then when they turn the show off on them is when they open their eyes, but then its too late.
