I think the reason why older people like hot stuff is because of the taste buds. I may be wrong, but older people like it because you loose the amount of taste buds you have in your mouth as you age. So the hotness is not that big a deal. That may be the reason why baby food is so tasteless for us; babies are sensitive to taste. When I was younger vegies (greens) were a no no for me, they were too strong. Now I love the stuff.

Hey Charles! A method I learned recentally that could help you next time an electrinic like your phone or camera falls in the water again, is to take a plastic ziplock bag, fill it either half way or 1/4 of the way with dry white rice, then put your device in the rice and seal the bag. leave it for a about a day to day 1/2 and the rice should absorb the water inside by then :) hope this helps! oh and don't turn the device on, leave it off while in the rice, then charge it when it's finished.
