when you carry around water, or any drink for that matter, you can control the rate at which you consume the beverage. not only can you ensure that you don't over drink(takes a lot of fucking chugging to do such) you also don't(unless you're sitting beside a tap or fountain) have access to the amount of water to have either (a) discomfort from overdrinking in a matter of seconds or minutes, or (b) death from water intoxication
