I tried an ex gay program through exodus international and was never so close to doing myself serious physical damage in my life. It's extremely scary the damage some of these people can do, when they're going under the banner of "helping" people.

this reminds me of my friends family. a few months ago his parents divorced. this was because after all the years of hiding, his dad ended up cheating on his mother with some other guy. A week ago, his father killed himself by overdose.

This all started when his father attempted "exgay" therapy more than 10 years ago.

all it does is fuck people up in the head. it doesn't "help" people. it only teaches them to lie to themselves.
