I personally love the theme songs from Tekken 2 the best! The themes for each character from 3 all the way to 6 feels awfully uninspired and repetitive. I couldn't even tell whose theme song a character belongs to anymore since everything sounds like pump-up techno music from "extreme" commercials x_x

@DJVirgoNeun I emphatically agree with you on that statement man. I mean it's like Namco's getting lazy as hell with it comes down to composing new songs in today's Tekken games. Although they mentioned that they might put some of Tekken 2's OST in TTT2 I think that it won't be the same as hearing this music and playing this game in my childhood.

FINALLY!! Somebody else noticed this! I've been posting msgs like this on related videos for over a year! I think it's great that namco sampled it for the soundtrack, but they should have paid Quincy (and bassist Anthony Jackson) royalties like any other sampled artist. the similarities go far beyond a mere coincidence. this is especially evident with the remixed version. I love namco and the tekken franchise, but give credit when it's(over)due!

I think tekken 1 and 2 have better music and sounds than 3,4,5,6... also parts 1 and 2 are more brutal and more atmospheric than other parts... When i first saw tekken 3 on pictures it was ok until I played it... sorry but Annoying stupid music and low quality voice samples just killed me in tekken 3. Also stages in T3 seems to be ugiler smaller and klaustrophobic.

@emilus I totally agree with you. It seemed liked Tekken 1 and 2, especially 2 had alot of soul to it, if that makes sense. After Tekken 2 the music starting to get bland and techno sounding, and the stages begin to suck. I miss each character having their own unique stage and background music. Also the story of Tekken 2 was the best in my opinion, the story of recent Tekken's focus too much on the Jin. And the endings for Tekken 2 were great.

@emilus opinion is opinion. I did not like 1 very much. I love 3 music, 2 was really good too. Tag was pretty nice some of them. 4 I just dislikes with everything. I never had 5 but I heard some of the songs and I liked 2. 6. I like only 4 songs. So Id say all have moments where there is a good theme (I do miss when characters had themes instead of stages) but 3 and 2 seem to be alll the themes were likable
