i was reading a forum post about a guy who got a boot on his car in front of his house, he just jacked the car up and pushed it into his garage and didnt have to pay no fine. it was a private boot company. it was basically "pay your fine and ill take the boot off" "no thanks leave the boot i dont mind" even the cop said theres nothing he can do cause hes not stealing the boot as he said he can have it back. i wonder how that would play here. if you just got a car trailer and towed it home

In Albuquerque, one driver got his car booted in a private lot and he cut the padlock off a bolt cutter. It was a cheap lock. But could someone still cut off the locks shown with bolt cutters if they found the right spots?
