Remember working there as a summer replacement darkroom worker in the 1970's. Packed photographic paper in boxes. Lots of good people. 5 floors of darkrooms and one floor of offices.

I was there when this building was imploded. While digital may be the future, 35mm film still has a loyal following. Admittedly, I never use it anymore.
Worked for Kodak in 78'. It was a busy , bustling place back then as was Rochester. Never thought I would see the day when Delco and all the others would fall by the wayside....What a shame.
I was born and raised in Rochester (don't live there any longer) and each Kodak building that's destroyed makes me depressed. My father worked there for 38 years and every sibling I have, including myself, worked two summers each for that company. Hard work, great memories. A shame its not the mega powerhouse in the world it once was. "The Big Yellow Papa" they used to call it. Can only pray something lucrative to Rochester goes in its place. Long live its greatness. Cheers Rochesterians.
Why were these people cheering? Only the Chinese are laughing because they have taken the jobs that were once represented by that building! Say good-bye America to your lively hood!
Our cities legacy and pride is being blown to rubble :s

This Bldg. stood on Lake Avenue.
RPS #41 (the kodak park school) is still around but it is across from where Bldgs 65 & 69 used to stand.
I also have a video posted of those being imploded. Sad.
