I saw a very compelling documentory, and the strongest explanation i can see is that; during the cold war, and around that general era, Russia were testing loads of different designs of airplanes, and surveillence type aircraft. All the ones they shown were really futuristic looking silver, sleek designs. And infact most look very similar in profile to flying saucers...

As for the series "Strange but True" that this comes from, it was cheap tabloid TV, full of bland assertions that "experts were baffled" when they weren't at all.
The interesting thing about the Bigfoot footage is that it has been used to compare and even debunked other supposed pictures. The problem is that there have too many people claiming they were the monster in the picture and there are just too many people who just see too many differences in how the creature moves. It just shows that academics never can agree on things. Whatever the case, fake or not it remains the best example of what to look for in a bigfoot picture.

I believe that the photo of the soldiers is a common mistake. The "ghost" is actually the man it's hiding behind. Slow shutter speeds can cause blurs exactly like that. The ghost & the man look the same. He must have moved or swayed as the pic was taken.
