It's because it runs Android. It won't be locked down or limited by Google as, it's android. It can be made to whatever you want it to do. It will have Flash, as in actual Flash, by Adobe. While I'm not certain this is the best device, it's quite shiny and pretty. I think there are still other competitors that will out do both this and the pad. I'm looking forward to the Archos 7 that can run Chrome OS, or Android, or Linux directly. Features USB ports for optional mouse/keyboard.
