  • If your faith would be the size of a mustard seed. you say the mountain to move and the mount would move

  • "don't idol worship" , I think, is just for showing the true way of evolution, going always deeper and always looking for god , everything is from and returns to god

  • Thank you.

  • When are you going to visit Singapore?

  • Yes, thank you for sharing this man's words with the world. The words need to be heard and understood on a deep level by all of us.

  • for the love of God, what a honest explanation. Beauty!

  • He is right about us christians NOT meditating, or contemplating.

Stillness, in the western world, is associated with boredom, or stupidity.

I think it goes back to the romans, when, if a slave was seen to be still, he would be whipped, and mocked, and called lazy.

The bible was used as a weapon, AGAINST westerners, not FOR them. We were not even allowed to have it in our language until about 1550. Before that, ONLY a priest could tell you what God wanted, and he ALWAYS wanted WORK and MONEY!

  • All the laws were deeper than face value.

  • if you would like your comment to be educational to others, it probably should first be legible.

  • must people ain't really to digest this is a master course for elevation '

  • UMMMM IS IT JUST ME OR DOES THIS GUY LOOK LIKE MOSES LOL

  • @mystictouch9 Direct hit;-)Congrats on your perception, even if you thought you were joking;-)

    3~HY

  • @mystictouch9 he probably is

  • @mystictouch9 I'm sure he is

  • @mystictouch9 it's just you. NO one today knows what Moses looked like.

  • this sounds like mysticism to me, You are still not to idol worship where you do it or not.It would make sense if the adverage person thought that way but they don't.So in stead of getting the nutrients of the fruit, they desire the fruit & its look.Hence plastic fruits, makes the table & the room look good but you profit none. Real fruit on the other hands does the same for the table & the room plus when used you profit off of its reason for being here.So that is not idolatry, that plastic is.

  • @delf124:

MYSTECISM: the phenomenon of having a unique experience of communion with God

    (whats wrong with that?)

As for the fruit ont he table, yes, the real fruit may look beter, and be healthier, but once you have eaten it, it has gone !

But if you leave the plastic fruit there long enough, perhaps it will become a pleasant familiarity, and the person will start to notice real fruit, when he passes a shop, and buy some, to try the taste.

Therefore, which is correct, for the begginer ?

  • I think it's an honest and true statement to admit that we do indeed worship idols in our heads (God forgive us) but insha'Allah by His will we will be set free, insha'Allah.

  • This makes no sense to me:

The FIRST COMANDMENT is: "I AM The Lord Your God Who has taken you out of Egypt."

This means: I am GREAT "I". Focus on your I AM, connect to Me, and I will take you out of the Egypt of your attachments.

Only then comes "Thou shall have no other Gods before Me."

God's laws - the Torah - given to Moses ARE expounded and explained - in the Oral part of the Torah.

But those who only learn the written part of the Torah are missing all this.

  • Never ending learning - Im for free speach, i also learn from others interpretation, - THanks for letting our voice roam, i sence less corruption, also, when we are allowed to talk! - Nice video thx

  • How does this relate to Krishna Consciousness

  • What Baba Nanak is saying is to believe only in the parbrahm akaal-purakh as . formless unmanifest energy that supports the cosmos. This is very similar to Ramakrishna Paramahamsa jis thinking. Guruji is saying that we in our insignificance cannot comprehend the image of God. He also teaches karamyog similar to the bhagavad gita.

  • I must say, this man is extraordinary, his teachings are profound!!!

  • you can use a mirror instead of any idol... and entering the phase where there is nothing... where your form in the mirror turns completely black or nothing.. then blue light..... then many faces. .. thats is far as i could hold it... i will move further shakti shakti truth

  • Moses was not wrong, but the readers interpretes wrong. When Christianity spread to Asia, they tell people not to worship the wooden idols, but Buddhists normally don't worship anything in this floating life, putting a Budda there is just a way to remind oneself how he can also be enlightened as the Buddha was. I don't see any difference between this and how the Western musicians put a porcelin statue of Beethoven or Chopin on top of his piano.

  • VERY GOOD!!!

  • I hope the whole bible is wrong, that way I can do what I please, when I please, and to whom I please, and when I die not worry anymore. The only way I would worship God is if he was proven to me just so I can save my butt from punishment. And I don't want people bashing me for it, at least this is one atheist who is honest. I hate false ethics and morality from atheist, just have some balls and be freaking honest.

  • yeh thats cool youe honest n i believe if one wants to be honest that is there own free will...why not. i do wish it makes itself more apparent to you but you might want to fear yourself you might find hell on earth doing all u want to whom u want haha best of luck to you n finding truth!!

  • "The only way I would worship God is if he was proven to me.."

God is only useful to those still in slumber. Once a person realizes the essence of Himself (yes, capital H) through earnest self-enquiry, God becomes part of the dung heap. :)

  • ur comment was interesting. tell me why u do not believe that an almighty creator exists?

  • Comment removed

  • Another possibility: One must first be introduced to an activity or idea/concept before one can determine the truth of said activity/concept. What one turns one's attention to can be said to be worshiped, thus to turn ones attention to anything other than God/Source (Infinite Unity) it can be said that one "worships" an idol, i.e. duality. Since nothing exists except Source, then it is false to worship duality. Om shanti

  • thank you

  • When one has experienced swimming, one has no reason to "believe" in swimming...one just swims. To believe is to not know, but hope that it is true.

  • empowering wisdom that great prophets should have followed. the world would have less terror, fear and dogmas.

may the worship of inner spirit awaken each to be a prophet and a messenger of love that is light.

all in the oneness of higher consciousness.

    aum

  • Yahweh- the actual simple meaning is : being-becoming

  • Yahweh- the simple meaning is : being-becoming forever.

  • my question is if God is present in human form all the time on this earth why u have to focus on idols. Guru ji i think u were not told by ur Guru that nothing will work in this dark age except reciting the lords holy name.

This dark Age is so powerful that even Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva had to hide themselves in a different spirtual plane.

Where there is selfless love there is God and he or she is a true master who creates conditions for love to exist.Love cannot exist without true master.

  • This guy has got it right. All these rules created by the imperialist religions limit our ability to expand our minds. Idol worship on one hand helps us identify with concepts to step our minds to a higher level. I love how yogis think.

  • Hey Hamsa yogi my advice is to disable the comments when you post a video...Don't cast Your Pearls before Swines....its sad to see arguments going on when there shouldn't even be one...those who have any can email you anyways...like dattatreya siva baba's channel, comments are disabled you should do the same...

  • ya its a good point. on the other hand though it's kind of educational for me to understand how other people think. I doubt sincere truth seekers will be turned away by these comments. They will understand, as Yogiraj says, "the tongue has no bone" especially from anonymous individuals who can yap all they want. Words inform, but Experience transforms. ~hy

  • @HamsaYogi;l

    Exaclty !

  • I am pleased to say, that i do know what this chap means.

Sometimes, I can get there. When there is just the right amount of quietness, and i am alone, and the air is fresh, but not blowing storng, i find myself in total peace of mind, and emptiness.

Often, it is the feeling of bliss itself (which makes me smile, inside and out), which brings me to awareness, and drags me straight back to earth.

the noticability, of the improvement of my state, makes me THINK.

Then its over, for that time !

  • @turbanless Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Would defeat the whole purpose of these videos. Who are you to be telling people to disable comments. Stick to your own channel if your that closed minded.

  • Did the 10 commandments worked on humanity? Since Adam and Eva the very nature of man is to disobey on law- even from God...why ? because man needs knowledge through experience. For mans goodness and progress, if man do not have the experience of " the lost son " who was immediately accepted as he came back . Sri Yogiraj teachings is the adult approach for the understanding on the commandments. Let's say the commandments itself is an idol itself..guess what happens if your not worshipping it ?

  • people stop been ignorant, this man what he is saying is that worshipping the Idol that you love, like most of us do: jesus, buddha, kristna, ect..by meditation and self absorvetion, you will realize true god...remember people we are talking about a man who has been practicing true religion. in which is the realization of self within in to feel god...to connect with god...he saying that in order to do so we must practice concentration, meditation, and realisation of our love one....within.

  • The worship the idol and yet not worship it? hmmm

  • He's not saying worship as many of them as you can. He's saying concentrate of the form of your beloved. Since God lies within every form, if your devotional concentration is total and complete, you will realize God in that form, and as the essence of all forms.

  • If you watch the whole video, he says that ultimately we should strive to get rid of idols. He also has a different view of idols. Idols to him are just something to focus the mind.

  • to the mockers: have you ever prayed kneeling in front of a cross ? Do you believe some objects are sacred ? Do you belive in the father, son, and holy ghost ? Have you ever prayed to god and jesus separately ? Have you ever prayed to a saint, angel, or the Virgin Mary ?

  • I disagree. I disagree with your use of eisegetical in this instance. i am offering this metaphor from the Bible as a metaphor for lay people irreconciled with esoteric teachings. it's relevent and applicable with regard to all the attacking commentary before us. and, more importantly, i will disagree with your opinion sans the name calling and passing judgement on your person. SAT NAM

  • historically, many ascended teachers have been persecuted by an ignorant public. hence, never cast your pearls before swine. this physical reality as a whole is to be used as a mirror to truly know ourselves. i believe physical reality to be an idol itself.

    SAT NAM

  • as are we all. unless you know something that everyone else in the world's history has missed ...

  • Even older than zoroastrianism? =] It seems more and more religion is being unraveled.

  • Since Sanskrit is the oldest written language, as far as religion being written down, and as far as organized religion is concerned, the oldest would be Hinduism.

  • Ask yourself a question. If your "idol" was destroyed i.e. someone burning a cross with jesus or smashing your murti of Durga- would you believe your GOD was dead or otherwise harmed? If this is true to you- then you are committing idolatry.

Instead use it to give your mind a concept to grasp since your mind cannot grasp divinity, the concept of formless infinite all pervading deity- consciousness itself, that is, until you are very far advanced spiritually. 'nuff said :o)

  • so well put ... it's comforting to see some understanding on a page strewn with mockery.

  • thats exactly what the video says. well put.

  • Brains go "blahing",oh,yes. Just how far have we gone really? I think I'll try figures first, and move on.

  • The man giving this talk has obviously gotten to a point where he knows what he's talking about. But judging by the 5000 or so views this video has received, how can you get his message to the billions? Can it be done just by describing the experience of ultimate enlightenment? or instead by using a set of dogmatic rules (either tangible such as idol worship or imaginary) to bring you to a point where you experience it for yourself? I think intangible rules are better suited to this purpose.

  • vanishing point is the most profound pith i have heard in awhile this makes perfect sense. turn your focus into an electron microscope to the point where you can see that there is no particles only space? at least thats what I get from it.

  • all thoes bad coments are sad... i understand most points of view but yes.. life has many stajes some may not need idols some may any how i like looking at faces and things pluss i love the art in the church.. he is wright..

  • Just as Christians have the idols of the cross and the hanging Jesus, yet do not worship the idol itself, but that which the idol represents, so too is this Guru advising the "worship" of idols. (i.e. not the clay/gold form itself, but that which it represents.) A jealous god is a fearful, insecure god. God is infinite - which means that there is nothing but God, for if there were anything else, God would thus be finite. Namaste.

  • For people of the book, the book is the idol.

  • Indeed, we apologize to moses for your phenomenal amount of ignorance - yet the beauty of it is, people that do understand what is being said - still love you hahahaha

  • the quote from the bible were moses brings forth gods commandments and says though shall not worship idols, if you read on he says for i am a jealous god. now logically god who is beyond jealousy, would never had said such a thing this is more a statement of the ego. so i would not take this passage literally. as we all know god resonates in every molecule in the universe be it good or bad. this comment is in no way meant to disrespect any being. inferential peace.

  • One thing I am excited to share with you guys in response to your comment Tracy, is chapter 16 of "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhansa Yogananda. Yogiraj alludes in this video to Sri Yukteswar as possiby being the reincarnation of Moses. Well, in chap 16 of this book, Yukteswar's fascinating interpretation on the book of Genesis is given. I'd love to hear your response to that. Go to: crystalclarity(dot)com/yogananda/chap16 (its in the last 1/3 of the chapter) ~hy

  • Peace be Master Hamsa. You are correct. Master Moses' mission upon our planet in that said existence was to teach the pure path of spirit, light and truth. It is no easy task to move from thinking on a material level to a purely spiritual level after being imposed to do so for 400 years or so. What many fail to realize is that a seed takes time to become a tree and more time to bear flowers and fruit. Some were more advanced than others in applying for it was archived in their souls already.

  • How can I reply when she didn't ask a question? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And anyway, I'm not qualified to answer, I'm just Yogiraj's humble videographer. It's an interesting pov that Tracy is sharing, and I hope she asks Yogiraj in person at some point - if I'm there I'll get in on video and post his response. ~hy

  • This is in no way meant to insult, but why should anyone care that in some really old book some dude named Moses says that "God" told him such and such a thing. The same goes with any such religious "stories". If someone chooses to believe something based on such hearsay, they are only fooling themselves. Faith = fantasy. Even what we see is clouded by our own preconceived concepts of reality. The only true knowledge is that of our own ignorance. It's called critical thinking, try it out.

  • The word 'Rasa' tells it all. Lingams have an attribute of the God, thru this your Conciousness links with higher beings.

  • I just want to say to all the ones who insult freely here... just do one step back. Respect others religion. May you live in Peace and Happyness.

  • @SubtractiveHymns that s just it they are not happy unless others are miserable as them this it'

  • Idols should exist, but not be worshipped. There is a reason for this, but I choose not to explain it. Good luck.

  • Just so you know, I don't often take a lot of notice of people who call others "morons". You are presumably some kind of religeous person, but where is the love?

  • People believe what they do based on their experiences in their lifetimes. Because someone has had different experiences that led them to a different conclusion to yours does not make them a moron.

  • oh my shiva, this is just wat i needed to hear. incredible clarity and knowledge is its own credibility of truth.

  • The depth of His Divine conciousness united with Truth is being expounded by this Great Jnan Nath. No other Master in modern times has delineated the perameters of conciousness ascending in such an accessible way. From deep spiritual experience to common sense; He covers the spectrum eloquently. We are enriched both intellectually and spiritually by Yogiraj's direct insights into the nature of conciousness unfolding.

  • very, very true.
