  • Genius!!!!!!!!!!

  • his Mallets are blue, the sound is too and quiet, just quiet

  • anyone has the vibraphone sheets for this piece?i am willing to exchange with other Gary Burton solos, including Chega de Saudade, if not, a place to buy it

  • @kretzul go to steve wiess music . com. That place has everything from the album, including the amazing "No more blues" for vibes

  • GARY'S BLUE BALLS SOUND SO NICE.

  • Music from heaven and techniques from hell. Bravo Mr. Burton.

  • @jiabee You're kidding right. Do you have any idea who this is? SIX TIME Grammy award winning vibraphonist Gary Burton who INVENTED the Burton grip. Thats like criticizing Alexander Graham Bell for having a poor phone connection.

  • oh my fucking god. B-e-a-utiful.

  • I admire him so much!!! He looks at it like it's nothing, and then attacks it!!! Awesome job my friend...so good...

I hate how we don't have classical music as much as we used to. Now it's all rock and roll and such...what happened to the good times? With Beethoven and Mozart and Bach? I'm so relieved that some people like Gary still believe in magical pieces like this one. Thanks for that, man. Thank you. <3

  • i would love to know how gary feels about wide pedals vs swiveling ones (check out the wide pedal on this musser)

  • I mean, what else is there to be said? This music speaks for itself. Burton is a master artist and always will be.

  • This piece actually has some kind of lyrics. I heard a rare recording of Keith Jarrett singing it. I can easily imagine someone like Paul Simon singing this piece. Was this video of a workshop?

  • Pure magic.

  • Haha, the dude sitting on the chair can't believe it! He's funny ! I would do the same.

  • incredible!

  • can you upload an original, like record version ? Love this

  • no words

  • thank you very very much for this spectacular video!!!!

  • although this is actually just "In Your Quiet Place" with no "Moonchild" intro like in the Kieth Jarret/Gary Burton album
