I think this is a great development! Being given a way to quantify and then to offset in order to help repair the damage we do daily to our environment is such a relief. It seems to me that carbon offsetting allows us as individuals to participate in the process - we can make a difference.

Carbon "footprint"? Give me a break! This is the biggest load of crap I have seen recently.
