  • n900 is the best it can run on android2.2,macosx12.1,windows 95,98,can be overlocked to 1ghz for safe use.and ps1,gameboyadvance,snes,mastergear emulator make it the best computer-phone ever!

  • Hd2 with android 2.3.4 and you have a monster

  • HD2 got Adreno 200 GPU ;)

  • HD2 man

  • The words "No" "Multitouch" and "Resistive" Ruined it for me. I'm gonna stick with buying the HD2 and put WP7 on it

  • I own N900 for a long time now, and it rocks, still as fast as when I bought it, screen is still 100% oke, no scratches. Also the processor can be overclocked to 1,2ghz, but it stable at 1ghz. It also has 1gb ram (256/728vertiual). It has no multitouch because its much more precisely. Compass can be downloaded, same for MMS. I have experience with HTC and its not very good, so choose N900

  • N900 is nokia's best ever smart phone period.

the nokia N8 is a complete joke!

infact apart from the N900 nokia our so sxxt!

its not even funny! symbian os is very dated and crap!

  • GRAB◜'`YOUR,.◜IPHONE.◜.FREE,`◜

  • n900 has less ram than hd2 but has swap wich is used as ram

  • if you enjoy the freedom of linux get the N900, if your the type of person that spends hours fiddling about with it just to get it right, and enjoy doing things just because you can, like booting Android on the N900, then this is the phone for you, but at times this phone will wind you up to the extremes.

  • At the time, if I were to pick between the two, i would choose the HD2. And i would dual boot Andriod 2.3 and Windows Phone 7 on it. XD

  • i think nokia n900 is the best because i have also n90 ,,hahhahaha

  • does the camera of the hd2 really suck? :S

i mean, when i give that much money i expect a good camera! -.- does it suck? pls. answer...

  • i don't know which one of these 2 smartphones i should get........ some of you say htc hd2 is better, some say that nokia n900 is better :( whaaaaat should i do now? i dont care about the prices by the way..... but it has to be one of these 2! i don't want anything else....... their design is great. other smartphones look like crap in their nearness......

  • nokia n900 has mms 3:01

  • Nokia n900 does have mms

    and a compas

    its just new applications.

  • HTC HD2 is processing beast, great harware, but bad software. N900 is not so good hardwarelike but it has a ton of software well written for it. Also The HD2 has a better touchscreen (same as Iphone) While the Nokia's isn't so high quality! :) Both are good, but I would say The HD2 wins, because of the fact it is so powerful, that it can run different OS'. In Fact I think the HD2 is the only phone on the market to be able to run BOTH Android AND Windows Mobile. I vote for HD2! :)

  • 10 reasons why i think the N900 is the best: -best browser for phones atm -supports flashing on-line -you even can watch 1080p mkv videos on it -has a bittorrent program -its one of the 3 open operating system phones available atm! -you can run tons of programs at the same time, switching takes less than a sec -it can be overclocked (can even run N64&PSX emu (and older consoles) -100s of free programs&games (linux... = freeware :D ) -userfriendly&fully costumisable -no on-screen keyboard
  • you send/receive with the n900 mss with fmms !!

just install it and it auto receives mss and sending is very easy :)

  • nd honestly if i start writing all the awsum features of n900 it will atleast take me 2hrs to write all of them coz it has endless awsum features!!!!!!

  • N900 can now run around 12+ OSes nd with Neopwn v2 u can actually crack wifi passwords rit e frm ur mobile!!nd of course it usb host mode feature nd now i can easily connect my pen drive nd watch a whole movie without taking effort to transfer it to n900 and the webos games available for n900 make it now more better in gamin with its awesome graphics nd dont wanna talk bout browser coz every1 knows that it got best mobile browser in da world that is based on mozilla's desktop engine browser

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ Can you name some of those OSes? Not emulated ones but the ones that are like on the HTC. HD2 can run Android and Windows mobile, but I'm pretty sure you can't put a different OS on the N900 (WITHOUT EMULATIONG IT ON SYMBIAN)

  • @raicho20 The N900 runs Meamo 5 and not symbian for starters. And then its able to run the new MeeGo releases and you can use it to dual boot to Android.

  • @Petri87 I see. But i belive the HD2 can also run mee go!

  • @raicho20 As of now it can't. MeeGo is still in alpha and only made available to N900. You might be able to put it on a HD2 but then it would run like shit(if at all) because its nowhere near optimized for that device and no one is willing to go and rewrite an OS that is still so early in development to make it run on another device then the one it was made for. And Officially as it stands now Nokia and Intel are the only ones building devices with MeeGo.

  • @Petri87 Yes. I agree that MeeGo runs lile shit on the hd2 because of the fact that it's not made for it but it runs which means that in the future it may as well be running far better than on the n900. Plus MeeGo is certainly not as important as Android which runs quite well on the HD2, something that i doubt is possible on the n900. Don't get me wrong, the N900 is great, but in my opinion the HD2 beats it with Hardware and design, which are far more important than the replacible software.

  • @raicho20 The fact is also that the N900 and the HD2 are fucking old. And when MeeGo is released for real, no one will make a serious effort to make them run on them. Both phones will be seriously outdated by the end of this year when MeeGo comes out with most high-end phones coming with Dual-Core processors and far better GPUs so the N900 and HD2 wont live on for that much longer.

If you are a serious smartphone geek then you should be updating phones every year, theres always something better.

  • @raicho20 wtf r u sayin??? please dont write any crap with out googlin first...

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ which comment did you reply to? If it's the one where i say that the hd2 is the only phone that runs android and winmo, then i apologize: what i said was bullshit...

  • @raicho20 i replied to ur dis comment "Can you name some of those OSes? Not emulated ones but the ones that are like on the HTC. HD2 can run Android and Windows mobile, but I'm pretty sure you can't put a different OS on the N900 (WITHOUT EMULATIONG IT ON SYMBIAN)"

  • n900 maemo5 linux .

and now has also usb-otg feature

I think n900 is the best mobile in the world for now.

  • the screen of the n900 is made from plastic , not glass.... kinda lame if you ask me

  • @souldragon9

Ofcourse the N900 has a pressure sensitive touchscreen instead of the very common multitouch screens. Can you enlighten us how they would use pressure sensitivity and glass properly?

Somehow I think they actually gave it some thought while designing the phone...

  • @activate2010 but if it was made of glass, it would be more stylish. Don't you agree on that ?

  • @activate2010 The Touchscreen of The HD2 is a LOT more responsive!

  • idc what people say lol.. im getting hd2

  • HTC has better software features but i think nokia is more durable

  • N900 is the best Phone all vote for the N900

  • HD2 doesn't have physical keyboard :S

N900 has... here in the video it is written the other way round

  • n900 ruLeZz!!!

  • HD2 has WiFi b/g/n actually

  • HD2 is on-screen qwerty not physical

  • @AZLAN210396 and on nokia n900 you have on screen and physical qwerty

  • htc is better.

  • HAHA MOM IS CALLING n900 nice phone though

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ

because Overclocking doesn't eat battery at all -.-

  • lol sound of doom: nokia tune

  • Hahahahahahh , I've just died

  • Well, its been almost a year since i uploaded this video, and ive decided to reevaluate my decision for those of you that still have one of these two devices on your wishlist. I got the iPhone 4 BTW

That aside, my suggestion to any of you, would be to go for the N900. WinMo 6 is dead, and dont expect any love from MS after WP7 is out. Unless youre an Android person, then go for the HD2 and install an Android 2.2 ROM on it (Google it). Otherwise, the N900 is the way to go.

    Need more info? PM me.

  • @Feircejaguar eeeyyy does this phone really coast 50 dollars now?/

  • @Stephano31 None of these phones cost 50 dollars...Maybe under carrier contract but even in that case 50 dollars is too low...

  • @Feircejaguar well check on the best buy website n search htc dd n it says 50 dollars :/

  • @Stephano31 Yeah, one phone is even priced at $0. That's because they're under T-Mobile contract. 2 years to be exact for the HD2. Otherwise it would cost you $599...

  • @Stephano31 wich phone cause i have the N900 and it cost me 430$ and its amazing does everything u want

  • @Stephano31 no it doesn't!! it cost around 250 to 300 dollars second hand.

and its probably worth a bit more than that in some places, just because it was and still is one of

nokia's best mobile devices to date.its certainly better than there latest offering the NOKIA N8!!

the best thing on that pile of crap is the camera!!! in general nokia suck. so its best to go for the

n900 for great web browsing or the htc desire hd2 or the desire z.

  • @Feircejaguar WM6.5 is not dead at all! The community is huge, and the developers are great... HD2 can run several OS: WM 6.5, Android (SD and Nand Roms), Windows 95 and 98, iOS and they are working on WP7 and BleckBerry OS.

The HD2 is the finest piece of hardware you can get, it beats anything, even all those phones which are 1 year newer

  • Nice video.... now the n900 has alot of extra stuff that hd2 doesn't have ( flash support for hulu :) ) or skype video call...... the hd2 can get borring if not hooked up with extra features.... such as third party apps that you can download directly to the phone or the nice big screen to watch movies...... i have both phones and of course one iphone 16gb 3gs... iphone gets borring if not jailbroken... both phones are an open-source phone and that when both phone shines....

  • nice presentation....;) hope u hv bought the NOKIA N900 by now... :) that what its worth buying...even though HTC HD2 is a beast !! nokia n900 edges out the competition....;)

  • n900....my n900 is damn good...

  • i dont know why u put resistive capacitive screen better then resistive, these two things cant compare, and it has 1.2ghz underclocked....... so u can overclock back to 1 ghz and not loose much of battery life (i think you will loose like 10 mins per charge....

  • The Nokia N900 wins, the HD2 may be a bigger phone but the Nokia N900 is a better phone in these ways: it's a world phone comes out the box fully unlocked, the HD2 is a U.S. phone, It doesn't have a full Qwerty keyboard, and It doesn't make video calls. I can use my Nokia N900 and bluetooth it to my PS3 controller and play the games through my flat screen TV because the Nokia N900 has a TV out cable, can the HD2 do that: NO.

  • Hd2 has an opengl 2.0 GPU , ram is 576 for Worldwide version .. it can run both Windows mobile and android at the same time with custom roms .. so if u still didnt get any of them.. go for the hd2...

  • @q8sauod well n900 is also packed with opengl 2.0 GPU nd n900 can ANDROID,MAEMO,UBUNTU MOBILE and MEEGO at the same time!!!!!!

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ when i said "Android" i mean that the hd2 have the ability to run all linux operation systems + windows mobile .. im not saying that the n900 is bad.. i actually was a nokia fan ..

  • hd2 proce 1Ghz , N900 600Ghz , :(

  • Hd 2 -3333

  • n900 fo lyf

  • i go 4 hd2 bcz capacitive multitouch and much more

  • @TheRockinBK MultiTouch Is Extremely Overrated

  • @07liberian ahahahahahahaha.. :D

Hope you'll be stuck on computer with no multitasking.. :)

your just average gamer, not real user.. :)

  • n900 mms=yes with fmms

    cpu=1105 mhz with overclocking

  • @konandr its 1150 mhz XP

  • hd 2 better nokia didn t made a phone with 3.7 inch screen

  • @matickselman i have mine overclocked at 800 with the starving power kernel believe me you dont want to fry your device 1000-1150mhz are nasty on the cpu

  • @konandr how do u overlock ur nokia n900¿

  • does the nokia support 3G

  • You could tell us the prices too. ;)

  • i got hd2 and i love it but he have so many bugs and now i want n900 to work with thees 2 super phones

  • N900 HAS A PHYSICAL KEYBOARD YOU NOOB

  • HTC HD2 is much better! :)

  • n900 win,,,

  • nokia n900

  • Nokia all the way

  • n900 very slow.....htc hd2 very fast

  • guys N900 is best..go for n900...its awesum ;)

Main Specs-first of all it has got 1GB RAM (256MB physical+728MB Virtual)

Procesor ?huh 600 Mhz is just the stock processin speed but it can be overclocked to 1.2Ghz!!!!!!!!! so gamin is nothin much for it...........

MMS support is not dere but u can get softawares luk fMMS which sups MMS on n900 ......u can download it from repositories..it has got 3D graphics support......32GB of storage !!! plus expandable with MicroSD... nd many other cool specs

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ ( n900 or n97 ) who is better :)

and does the protait mode will be avilable in n900 :) ?

  • Comment removed

  • @sizojokeromar n900 is of course faster......its got faster processor nd more ram nd etc etc

nd n900 supports portrait mode in certain circumstances lyk portrait web browsing nd callin....nd portrait mode is also supported by any applications dat use portrait mode.......portrait mode can be also enabled through a external application

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ

No portrait mode on everything just on 3rd party applications and 5% of n900 aps..

"n900 is of course faster......its got faster processor nd more ram nd etc etc"

virtual ram is virtual, so it's not fast as real, never will be..

it's not faster, just HTC HD2 is windows based, and windows is old, so doesn't support 1GHz, so HTC HD2 is faster, but it's only dead potential..

  • @demonico123456789 portrait mode is supported through an external app ....i mean not only only portrait it includes portrait invert and landscape invert!though it's still buggy...... i agree virtual ram is virtual but if a lot of programmes run on ram physical ram then unused programmes r swapped 2 virtual ram so its useful wen ur n900 is loaded wid load of apps...

  • @demonico123456789 nd i dint understand wat u mean here-->"it's not faster, just HTC HD2 is windows based, and windows is old, so doesn't support 1GHz"

wat do u mean windows is old nd doesnt supp 1ghz?? HTC does run at 1ghz

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ I hope you're trying to be ironic and I hope you understand the specs you spat out.

  • @MinhaZStreetZRacerZ AGREED its for sure nokia's best for a while

and kicks the crap out of the nokia N8

  • @happystar8081 Software wise its slicker then N8 and is more "hacker" friendly what with it being a Linux based OS and all. Hardware wise its a one sided battle. The N8 is better in every way when it comes to the hardware. And don't go thinking I'm biast or anything since I have both the N900 and the N8 and love them both.

  • I preffer N900 by far.

  • HTC IS THE BEST! EVEN HTC DESIRE IS PERFECT BUT HTC HD 2 IS MORE AWESOME THAN IT BECAUSE OF ITS COOL EFFECTS AND HUGE SCREEN ! EXCEPT THE ANDROID SOFTWARE THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANDROID SOFTWARE AND WINDOWS ONE!! I LOVE HTC HD 2 WEATHER EFFECTS! THEY ARE AWESOME! I WAS NOKIA ORIENTED FROM 4 YRS BUT NOW I SWITCH TO HTC AFTER N97.! NOKIA HAS GONE MAD WITH ITS STUPID DEVICES!

  • LOOOOL !! I have an HTC HD2 ... HTC is ALOT BETTER THAN Nokia N900 !! believe me... Nokia gets more shittier on each device it launches ... but HTC gets better & better, believe me Nokia doesn't connect people, but HTC does it for real... HTC is our REAL FUTURE ! .... hd2 can be used as a wi-fi router, and can share Internet Connection over Bluetooth to other devices & vice-versa ... but the N900 of course can't do that !!

  • @dannya51 "hd2 can be used as a wi-fi router, and can share Internet Connection over Bluetooth to other devices & vice-versa ... but the N900 of course can't do that !!"

Yes it can. All Symbian S60 3rd, Symbian^1 and Meamo devises can be used as a wi-fi router. Probebly should check your facts before posting.

  • @Petri87 yes it can

  • @Petri87 Yes nokia n900 can do that XD

Its a fucking nano computer you idiot

New applications like that come every day XD

  • @RambOFreAc That what I said. Are you retarded or what the fucks your problem?

this is exactly what I said:

"Yes it can. All Symbian S60 3rd, Symbian^1 and Meamo devises can be used as a wi-fi router. Probebly should check your facts before posting."

If you can read you see that the first part of the comment is in quotes and that means its the guy that I replyed to that said it.

  • @Petri87 Well i didnt see that you pussy fucked ass face -.-

  • is N900 better ???

  • @Berlinneukolln no it isnt ofcourse!!!

  • So which one did you choose m8? It was the N900 for me.

  • HTC is better

  • Man's have N900.

    Fag's have HTC.

  • @diogoboufleur why your boyfriend has it?

  • @ marcoacero.. I have a htc hd2, i downloaded skype for mobile on it, works perfect, minus the video talk, :)

  • Nokia N900 has 3 procesors and the frequency of the main procesor can be raised to 1.15 GHz so better than the HD2.

  • Also it'll take the dedicated Maemo community very little time to port MeeGo to the N900.The HD2 is pretty and i was hell bent on getting it but the N900 is the wiser choice and in some ways its just so much cooler. Full Flash support and proper hardcore multitasking are also aces that only the N900 holds so like i said i think the N900 is the better option.

  • @666rohit the N900 is already running MeeGo(Developer Preview).

    meego.com/downloads/releases/1.0.80.8/meego-handset-day1-developer-preview

  • i'd go with the N900. i've been doing one helluva lotta research and the N900 tops the HD2 in every way excepting the screen size and RAM.The processor of the N900 can be overclocked safely till about 900 MHz making it pretty close to the HD2.The graphics accelerator gives it a edge and the OS gives the N900 the biggest up on the HD2 since its completely customizable. A power user could make this phone do wonders. WinMo 6.5 is outdated and the possibility of an upgrade to Win 7 is nil.

  • Nokia sucks

  • @iBulL1994 How ?

  • nokia 3210 rules snake 1 lol

  • htc is better

  • HTC cool

  • you need to update this, The N900 has MMS now, Fmms it is called, look it up on my review, it also has a few more things on top of your specs, More video playback formats for video on the go, integrated skype and google talk into the phone that includes video calling, the n900 has 3 processors, one for cpu, and two for graphics so the 600mhz processor is just the main one, in the end I would take anything other than WM anyways

  • N900 ROCKS 10 TIMES BETTER THAN HTC

  • n95 8gb is so much better than these ...lol

  • N900 Wins By Knockout :D

  • snailbuster

  • i like the htc more than the n900

  • if you are not going to use the n900 for what it really is just get the htc. i don't want to be rude but probably most of us who have bought the n900 did it because of the terminal. i don't know probably the htc is a better phone, it's UI looks nice but i prefer the more mature ui that maemo has to offer. i hate the word geek (sounds really stupid) hated nokia when they said this is for geeks but well i use the n900 as a tool (it saves me time & space). and if i were you, i would pick up the 4G.

  • hd2 is best

  • What You are talking about ? The HD2 uses Opera Mobile ;)

This is better than the internet explorer.

In my Opinion th HD2 is much better than the n900.

  • Hey, I have a N900 and my friend uses HTCs, he is putting it aside and only use it as an Overpriced GPS, Main reason cos it Had no Keyboard. I am happy with my N900 with lots of free aps, only thing is the battery life which I need to keep a car charger with me or the USB cable where ever I go with my Laptop. But I heard the Battery life for HTC is as bad about 4 hours online with 3G.

  • nokia n900 your so lucky ,i only have an nokia 5800 an it does wanders ,imagine if i had a n900.

  • @bunnypatch nice, i also had the 5800, it is a great phone, untill i switched to the n900. =P

  • HTC HD2 vs Nokia N900, Nokia N900 wins my heart.... feature like MMS, is replaced by posting it online or by emailing, so it really doesn't matter..

  • hey dude, HD2 supports Open GL 2.0 graphic!

  • The MMS for Nokia N900 should be yes because they have an app that lets yous end free MMS....

  • @smoovekiddrza How long ago was that?

  • @smoovekiddrza There Is A App For That It's Called FMMS.

  • you can overclock the n900 up to 1ghz, and go back to 600mhz,, the proven stable overclock speed it 900mhz,..

  • Buddy, the physical keyboard is N900 not the HD2. I've had both in my hands, for me multitasking and frontal camera for video talk with skype are key so I prefer N900. HD2 is a great phone, not as complete though.

  • @marcoacero Have you read the description?

  • @Feircejaguar no, I hadn't... we youtubers tend to get lazy at reading descriptions :)

  • Comment removed

  • @RED799 the retard here is you. And Apple isn't the leading brand, wtf did you get that idea?! Also, you're angry, go eat some pies. Don't bother me...

  • i hate one things about n900 the reastive touch nasty

  • @aziz849 really? I actually love it, excellent response and precision. Wouldn't hurt to have multi-touch though.

  • N900 is the best

  • someone who knows how to install android on hd2 please send me a message

  • HD2 for sure!!!!!!

  • dude... you cant compare the touchscreen, most people have different taste about it. Add on, Multi touch IS possible on resistive touchscreen through codes

  • @Rayz093 you forget Carl Zeiss optic lens on n900 =.= and MMS is POSSIBLE on n900, ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX530 Graphic

  • im sorry but HD2 all the way mann

  • n900 is the best

  • They are both amazing phones! I have both I use one for work and one for play.. My work phone is the N900 its a great phone for keeping up with my calls and text and It has tones of space for my music movies and games so I have a lot to keep me entertained during my breaks... The HD2 is just amazing however to play with, If I were told you can buy an Iphone or heck an ipad or this I would pick this hands down.... So I know Im not much help but I think you'll love either one..

  • NO MMS FOR N900 ?? o.O

  • @yourDeath86 actually who needs mms when you are able to connect internet and send whatever you want ?

Do you need cassette players still?

  • @KardaKYoK AND IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A PHOTO AND SEND IT?? -_-"

  • @yourDeath86 still its very easy with n900 if you are connected. if you are not, well you are right but whoever can buy such tablets have the connections 7/24 i think.

  • the MMS is coming to the N900 next firmware , while HD2 cant have a TV-OUT in any firmware.

  • I have both phones and the HD2 looks more impressive, it's fast and screen is gorgeous, but the virtual keyboard is a pain.. I really can't get used to it.. the N900 is nice too, the keyboard is a plus and the size is not a problem to me, I think the HD2 has a better battery life..

  • I have the HD2 and it is good and fast.

And I like to watch youtube from my HTC .

  • The UI response shown on the Nokia is really good - so nothing like the real thing then!

  • The GPU on the HD2 is more powerfull than on the n900 the hd2 handles 22mfps the n900 handles 16mfps

  • Wrong wrong wrong:

-> HD2 has a OpenGL ES 2.0 GPU from ATI: ATI Z430 GPU (only drivers are not included by HTC but can be installed simply by yourself)

-> HD2 has on-screen-keyboard and Nokia N900 has physical qwerty (ah, you lready found that out yourself)

  • I really want to buy the HD2 but as I see it Maemo looks fresh, dynamic and makes better use of it's available resources, even if they are lesser than the HD2. Windows Mobile is definitely more "homely" to Windows users and has a more mature application base, along with being more versatile. HTC Sense on top of it just sweetens the deal. But for a true multimedia smartphone that you don't mind carrying the bulk for the N900 is supreme, with the 32G space, TV-out etc. Me? I'm going for the HD2.

  • I also try to decide. I don't know what to buy: a Nokia N97 or a HTC HD2. What would you recommend me to buy?

  • I don't own any of these phones, but I would definitely get the N900. I think overall, performance of the N900 would be a lot faster because of the Linux software, and HTC, even if a few of the specs seem better, most of them would be requiring to run the Windows mobile platform, which is probably why multitasking is such a resource hog. and things like MMS that the N900 currently doesn't have, I'm sure that will just require a firmware update to add it in.

    I could be wrong...just an opinion :)

  • Like no apps for maemo 5 yet, which is still bugged and n900 is it's only phone. I would understand asking about n900 vs n97 vs htc touch pro 2 vs motorola milestone but u're asking about 2 different phones ;)

On htc hd2 u got bigger screen, but no keyboard. Good cpu so u can even emulate psx games but... If u ask me I'm not gonna play 100x worse games just because they run on phone ;o and n900 has 32gb of space. I'm going for n97 myself, qwerty and symbian but still some useful apps.

  • htc hd2 FTW

  • @GodsGift420v HD2 FTW ??? LMAO Not With All That Freezing!

Besides That The Camera Sucks, WnMo Sucks, Syncing Sucks, And Battery Sucks.

    Nice Screen Though!

  • @gWAPgUNNAZ ill admit the battery sucks mines never froze it just starts laggin a bit if ur a retard and dont kno how to open the task manager and end sum programs

  • @GodsGift420v WOW Thats Sad! You HAVE To Close Some Programs In Order To Avoid Lagging On A 1Ghz Snapdragon Phone...Sad.

Thank God My N900 Does'nt Have That Problem.

  • Defenitly HD2

  • the n900 battery is crap ! thats why am waiting before i buy !

i prefer a sliding keyboard rather than a touch one !

  • The advantage of the snapdragon cpu is wasted because it is lacking a gpu.

The combination of a cpu + gpu is a far better combination because the gpu is dedicated and will not charge the cpu for image/video/3d processing.

That is why quake3 will run smoother on the n900 than on the htc desire(snapdragon featured phone).

  • Okay it's a bit unfair comparison, the video says that the htc hd2 has 448mb ram,

correct. But it also says that the n900 has only 256 mb ram which is uncorrect.

The 256 mb from the n900 is normal ram.

The 768 mb for the rom is NOT rom memory. It is swap memory (Virtural ram) which brings the total amount of ram for the n900 at 1024mb (256 + 768).

  • go for n900!!

  • wait for the new iphone 4g and for the htc evo 4g

    those devices are awesome!!!
