@FuriousCracKKer It's killing monsters to get gold, exp, faction, specific items, etc. There're a lot of variations of it, a lot of monsters for general items/gold, individual monsters for greens, solo and groups.

Having a longer Shadow Form isn't really helpful, as the challenge is to kill them before they run away, not to survive until they're dead. You need power in the initial bomb, otherwise they all just run away and stare at you while your shadow form runs out.
but with the glyp i got 14 fire and i use item that my attributes are +1 so i got 15 and i see they are alrdy killed when u use phoenix and u also have flame dijun's haste to deal a lot of dmg
ok, i can still try it but what u see about they're running away is true i do lot's of places and i try still lot's of places do go with my nuker sin but more and more i use silver armour and aftershock, etc
The damage from Flame Djinn's Haste isn't really needed, and the speed boost isn't needed for nearly as long as it lasts for, so you could probably just use Armor of Mist without even putting more than a few points in water.
*shrug* Based this off the Shadow Form bomber which is quite well known and widespread, and modified it for significantly more power in a small time, energy management and a running speed boost.
The main reason for farming vermins and not anyting else is for Celestial Weapons. Although rare, this is probably the most convenient spot to farm for them in Hard Mode. =)
when I use it is does, because I don't have any Shadow Arts runes. Thus Shadow Form ends early and I get wasted. I think Salamandra has runes that extend it so Shreader isn't a problem.
Different question: Is there any particular bonus to doing this in HM? I get 1.5plat per run in NM...does it get much better?
In Hard Mode, there is a chance of getting Tomes, which are useful for getting unlocked skills, and with the higher lvls of the monsters, better drops come down, and more money values. For Example: NM Hydras near Augury Rock in Tyria drop about 75-100g, in HM, they drop 125-150. Plus they tend to drop golds, purples, and blues more.
You can't have Shadow Form runes when you're an E/A. Runes are exclusive to the primary profession. I do have a 20% enchantment mod, though.
In Hard Mode you get more gold, more golden weapon drops, and the weapons that do drop are of higher quality (Due to the lowish level of the regular Vermin, they often drop non-max golds... which isn't very good).
Make sure you're using Glyph of Elemental Power, not Glyph of Sacrifice or Lesser Energy. It is still possible for them to scatter, but they do it very infrequently.
And you cast it in the order I show. Cast Fire Attunement and Flame Djinn's Haste. Then run around, aggro everyone you want and get them to the place to fight them. Cast Shadow Form and Glyph of Elemental Power, Meteor Shower, Bed of Coals, Lava Font, Phoenix, and Flame Djinn's Haste if you feel wasteful.

Combination of knockdowns and killing them really quickly. Glyph of Elemental Power is necessary for this reason.

Yeah, but I have to use that Glyph too, so you're comparing 14 fire damage with 18 fire damage. Also, the item thing cannot be relied upon.

Shreader's a problem regardless. He's simply got too much health, the fire bomb doesn't kill him, Shadow Form runs out and you die.
I avoid him and his group. It's easy enough to do.

First bomb: Group of vermin to the side and the ones patrolling near the stairs.
Second bomb: Two groups of vermin before the bridge on ramps.
Third bomb: Attempt to aggro two groups after the bridge patrolling round the middle. Avoid the boss group.
Fourth bomb: Another two. Avoid the boss again. After this, run past.
Fifth: First two groups after the second bridge.
Sixth: Last group.
