@TheWaterlily2012 Pathetic music happened, that's what. Pathetic music, except in my view the new country songs, which sound almost like old rock songs, electric guitar and all, with a down-home twang thrown in.
@avsfaninboston Glad you found this tune, I've been listening to it for 25 years and it never gets old. If you have a lousy day, go home and crank this one. it picks you right up!!!!

If I remember correct I saw Axe in the mid 80ies on German television and they played a medley of songs in one chord. I’ve looking for that tune but couldn’t find it. Has anybody an idea what that song was called or where to find it? Thanx in front.
Bin Laden is dead. if thats not enough reason to get all the boys together and have a rock and roll party street in the street. i dont know what is :P
Awesome, awesome classic tune! Thanks for sharing because every young rock or metal fan needs to have this ringing in his or her ears before growing up! Imagine if this song was used for a Flash Mob event, and played once everyone arrived. It would make a great video and a fine salute to this band.
I was fortunate enough to see these guys open for Cheap Trick and Aldo Nova in 1982 at the Rapides Coliseum in Alexandria, LA. These guys basically owned the night. I was an instant fan. Check out "Burn the City Down" from this album also. Another badass song!
@TBDV1 i believe the band are still going, albeit with a different line up. so what? modified axe is better than no axe at all eh? they were stunning.

Oh yeah...also I seen them in Portland Oregon in 1982? with Motley Crue on the Crue's first ever tour. Motley Crue had a good set but they were completely drunk. But opening Axe flat out stole the show. It was a real knock down drag out Rock & Roll party at the Starry night. Great memories! Got out of the show and vomited all the beer I had drank earlier. I freaking wish Axe would reunite with Bobby they were the BEST!!!!!! R.I.P. Micheal Osbourne
@ViralAries Seen the same show in Denver. Axe, Heaven and MC. Crue killed it that night tho. Show was postponed for two days due to blizzard. Crue made up for the delay by playing most of their first two LP's and a Elvis set to boot. Still rates as one of the greatest shows of my life.
Years ago I got onto Bobby Barth's website (Now gone) and wrote him about a video to this song. He told me they did indeed make a video to this song but it was pretty bad in his own word. My cousin did see the video in MTV's early days and told me it was freaking killer. I've tried to find it for years with no luck. I did however find two Axe videos "Heat In The Street" & "I'll Think You'll Remember Tonight". I sent Bobby copies he sent me back a guitar pick and and autograph. Nice Guy Bobby!
