  • This is the worst music I have heard in my life.

  • Song name please ?

  • cool car.....if you put donks on it and youre a nigger.lol

  • Mustang Grande' on steroids. LOL

  • That's one beautiful car....

  • pqp!!!!! demais.

  • That is a beautiful car... it's perfect

  • What did Mercury do to the cougar after 70?:( No offense to your car!:)

  • except by the wheels and the awful steering wheel, it's one of the nicest rides ever made! I love this car, especially the 71-73's. I had a green 1974, a little bigger and heavier than yours, but with the same 351C-2V!

  • ugly ass car

  • @shparker What are you driving? A Prius?

  • @Serious2you clk320 cabriolet

  • @shparker Obviously a new girls convertable?

  • Awesome! Can you tell me how you get the music behind your videos?

  • Love that car, i really need to find myself one of these cars :) nice ride man

  • I am weeping right now. I had a 73 XR-7 Convertible with a 351 W. I miss it so much. I agree with mtfune that you should have shown the sequential turn signal. That is my all-time favorite feature of this beautiful car.

  • @rachel112263: Yep. May the classic Cougars live on forevermore.

  • I personally think that a lot of the 1971-79 Cougars are significantly underrated.

  • @MiracleMileV8 True. The 1971-1973 were still taken from the Mustang platform where the 1974 1/2-1979 were enlarged to the Gran Torino/Montego platform.

  • ahora querré mas mi cougar 93 este video mi inspiró

  • Nice car! I bought my 73 in 1987 when I was 23 yrs old. I loved the sequential tail lights. Unfortunatly the Minnesota winters hadn't been kind to it and the quarters were a bit rusty and the floors had pin holes in em. I had some good times in the ol' girl though. The 351 Cleveland was a great motr...just had a 2 barrel carb though. I also rear ended a truck a week after buying it....bad blindspot...changing lanes...you do the math. Guy I know had all the part to fix it...grill wasnt chp.

  • I drove the 73' Grand Prix in those days but would not have been dissapointed with the Cougar. I did own a 83' Cougar LS. It had the 302 fuel-injected carb. I think it was only 170hp but let me tell you that the car was optioned nice with power everything and leather bucket seats. It rode smooooth and had sufficient pick up. Got rid of it at 178,000 miles and the oil was clean enough to drink. When running--you could not hear the engine.

  • NICE!!! Good car/ music video- BUT you forgot one TEENY TINY piece of information -- You did not show us the segmented rear turn signals going off. That is a MUST-SEE with this era of Cougar and other Ford products as well. Still a good job.

  • nice vid me and my dad built one.

  • awesome video, great music!!!

  • This is my father's car.

  • Nice video. Not only does your car look good, it sounds great. I would like to know what you are using for your exhaust? I have a 1975 stored at my parent's farm that needs to be restored. I had it in HS. I don't know if it is worth restoring. There are not many around from that year but it is not quite as cool as a 71-73.

  • Damn nice cougar, had 1 in high school, miss it alot, brings back good memories!!!

  • Great Car (Y)

Can someone please tell me what song is playing in the background?

  • Chords of life By Joe Satriani

  • i have a 77 mercury cougar with a 400 big block, 6.6 liter v8

  • very nice cat. i'm on the 6th year of restoring

  • FABULOUS CAR and video!!! BRILLIANT!

  • beautiful car

    Very nice video.

  • man my dad has a 73 just like that but gold.

it has 5,000 original miles he bought it new back in the day but man if his ever even touched dirt i think he would have a stroke

  • FANTASTIC CAR!!!! Parts of this video were extremely artistic... much better than the walk around with the engine running videos.

This model and the previous Cougar models (and some Camaros) are the best looking US cars... EVER!!!

    Bravo!!!

I have some brit sports car videos if you want to look.

  • Sweet sweet car! Love to hear that 351 Cleveland roar!

  • nice kitty !

it seems as though cars back then were crafted rather then assembled. this is one of the most beautiful machines i have ever seen. and that sound, even though i only heard it for a few seconds, it sent chills down my spine!

cool music too, what is it?

    cheers.

  • Wonderfull ride!

  • im 17 have a 1977 mercury cougar. has a stock 351. and its a modified nota clevland. im going to be dropping in a blown 429 scj running bout 950 hp. its a pre big car and i hope to god i can drag some bumpper with it. the motor was originaly in a 1969 mach1 so i know its a good motor. the guy took it down the strip put it in the wall and the motor and 4 speen trany was the only thing still useable. it was unfortunate but hey i got a free motor hahahah but there gr8 cars dont underestimate a boat
