what a pointless comment! no star becomes a star without a 'big break' - for Lea that happened to be Miss Saigon. But as an artist all she needed was a vehicle to get there - any vehicle could have done as nicely. She has a quality and ability to express music simply that is very rare and very beautiful. This song is an excellent example of this.
Lea is very talented as a child with ANNIE in REP Phils. and her WEA recordings, and I think she was quite ready for Miss Saigon when West End producers found her.
It doesn't really matter whether we supported her then or not.
What is more important is that she nurtured that talent and was ready for the KIM role when the opportunity presented itself.
I hope that our present roster of stars would not just aim to be famous but also nurture the talents and the opportunities given them....

Oh just use Windows MovieMaker. It has instructions and stuff... experiment on it. That's exactly what I did, believe it or not. This is indeed my very first movie.

Fame is one thing and talent is another. I believe that fame is no guarantee that one is talented, and vice versa.
However, it would be undoubtedly special if a talented person (like Lea) would achieve fame not only through luck but also plain hard work.

Oh just use Windows MovieMaker. It has instructions and stuff... experiment on it. That's exactly what I did, believe it or not. This is indeed my very first movie.
