Previously, I had only heard 2 or 3 songs from them on the radio, but the more I find online, the more I see that everything they put out is dynamite! Thanks for posting.
funny it was tuff to be an up and coming christian band back in the eightys, no one wanted god we all chased money and crap, now 25 yrs later where is the crap but when we hear one of these songs play we instantly go right back to that time in our lives. is the lead singer still with us?
I remember them on The Alan Thicke Show back in the early 80s. They played this, Code of Love and Talk the Talk...absolutely blew me away, they sounded so good. Finding that album (cassette) back then was about as hard as it is now :P
Yeah, I see your point, cheffy84, I guess they are kinda similar, and Page looks a little like Sting (better looking tho!) IMO his voice is more powerful than Sting.
After hearing and watching a lot of Mr. Mister's music and performances, I came to the conclusion that Richard Page holds sort of a "Sting" essence to the work. The Police and Mr. Mister are 2 totally different bands, but share some musical similarities. Or, maybe it's just me.
This was one of my favorites from "Face". The keyboards make it sound haunting, unlike most of their songs, but it rocks! Mr. Mister weren't together real long, but they were always creative & made a huge difference in music in just a few years time.
And that gorgeous guitar work....

I've just discovered this tune, and I .... LOVE IT!
It's so hypnotic, with a haunting sound that touches my soul. What a perfect example of 80s music at its best. Mr. Mister are awesome.

Are these guys Californian or Canadian? They could sound like they're from either place.

Was there a video for this? I know there's a vid for 'The Border' which doesn't appear to be on here (I found it on Yahoo! music page)
I love this song and if there's a video that would be cool!

First time listening to this track. Instantly awesome in my opinion. Richard Page and the gang kill on every song they put out.

The keyboard reminds me of a scary game like Resident Evil 2.

@The235528 Yeah their synths are haunting. I remember even Broken Wings sounded spooky to me when I was a kid.
