@djlyngo: For the hardware, there's just an Arduino Mega and a Sabertooth 2x5-amp motor speed controller. The Arduino sends commands to the Sabertooth via one of its serial ports. A program I made reads a MIDI file using Mabry's MIDI library, and passes to the Arduino info on up to 4 notes. There's more info in my video "Duke Nukem music on Stepper Bass Box", although I used stepper motors rather than DC motors in that video. The most complex part is the software, not the hardware.
I can't wait until Bawami is released! What editing software did you use to make the picture-in-picture? It's really smooth-looking when it goes from small to big at 1:20
It's all done with a little-known-of program called Magix Movie Edit Pro 15. It's cheap for this kind of software, but extremely buggy. I suppose you get what you pay for. If you keep saving and make backups of the projects, it's quite usable, in my opinion.
