  • I never heard this before but Im glad you found it

Peace and equality and all the rest of the higher ideals for everyone...

  • @joeygsmom I still have the album! REVOLOUTION

  • Does anyone know where I can find Banjo tab for this song? Newbie here and I figure this classic would be a nice place to start.

  • instead of death well give him life(inprisonment)

  • @neuropatico Yeah, my little boy was asking about that organ a couple of days ago. What's that about? It sounds like a funeral parlor. Wonderful song.

  • i love saticical folk music. i no i spelt that rong but you get the idea.

  • Satirical.

    Know.

    Wrong.

But yes, I agree with you.

  • I....LOVE....THIS....SONG!

  • this song says more about irelands troubles than any other

  • That is a fantastic version, thankyou Kelly.

On the later LP version was it Phil Coulter who added that organ chord at the end of this song? It sounded totally incongruos at the time, in fact it made me start when I first heard it. Even today, it sounds odd, as if it was 'added on' in the studio. I much prefer this jaunty version of a very important song.

  • great upload kelly...this guy is brilliant.

    great song great music

  • this song is sick; reminds me of early bob dylan; luke kelly is the king of ireland! thanks lad.
