  • Amazing that this video has stuck around. Dave pulled his own Nov. 2005 Demos off YouTube. I first installed and ran Compiz XGL in Jan/Feb 2006.

    His whole point was that it wasn't about being pretty or Cool. It was all about Speed w/ the full utilization of the GPU to display the desktop.

    Leaving the CPU to the Program Applications for far greater efficiency of resource handling. The result is that the GPU received a speed boost and never just sits idle! :D Thanks talishte!!!
