Funny how people get the wrong idea.To me Dianne Kay was just saying it was hard to be part of the conversation via satellite...because of the 10 second delay, it was hard for her to know when to chime in with her own comments. She was very pleasant about it as far as I could tell.
The question about Vietnam was intended to indicate that their show was a success partly because at the time it was an escape from the recent worries of that war & the troubles some of the returning Vets. were having,
I assume she meant did people like the show so much b/c all of the trauma of Vietnam was behind us, but I don't think that was it. It was simply a good show. That was a pretty bizarre question, and comparison.
As for Dianne Kay, well, everyone getting their chance to talk can be difficult. Too bad she was so upset about it.
Kay recently Suffered a bout of Renal Cancer. She would have likely been there were it not for that...let's give the girl a little encouragement...

I didn't think she was bitching at all. Get real. She was very gentle and sincere sounding. It's difficult to jump in to talk, that's all.
