I would have thought that I would feel the same thing about not wanting the crowd to sing along, but for some reason I like it here. I dunno, it's a love fest between performer and devoted fans. The cheers after the first verse were a little bizarre, but this was one of DC's most amazing performances to date. Stunning.
I agree, David should be singing this alone It is to emotional of a song for a singalong. David looked so hurt singing this but he did a phenomenal job. He makes you really feel the pain with him. Best performance so far.(even TWIK)
I can only imagine! If you get bored and want to check out some of the DC vids on my channel, you must look at the ones from Bossier City (the tour). I had to deal w/a middle-aged drunk woman behind me while I was filming him. Her chant: "Take that shirt off! Take that shirt off!" *rolls eyes* You just wanna slap 'em for encroaching on your moment w/him!

This song was written for David's brother, Adam Cook. Adam died late Saturday night, May 2, 2009, after a long battle with brain cancer.
Our sympathies to David Cook and his family in the passing of his brother.
