i heard this song back in 2004 the night i popped my first X pill . it went hard n definitly set the tone for the whole night . i wish hip hop was still like this
The Song Came from the G-Unit West : Americas Wasteland Mixtape....DJ Whoo Kidd hosted it......I downloaded cuz Timbo produced it....Never heard of Jon Doe But When I heard it I was hooked 4 life...that was bout 3 1/2 years ago.
this track is old skool man.. last couple of years he produced for commercial artists like Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and Rihanna (Rehab). But before that Timbo maked beats for less popular artists. Personally, I like this beat much more than the more commercial beats.
P.S.
John Doe isnt really unpopular. Example is Timbaland's track: Way I Are. The difference is that he got rid of the name John Doe, now he is called D.O.E
aye ppl can somebody send me a mp3 download link 4 this song w/o the dj voice??
thnx!!!

Lil Jon and Timbaland were both a good choice for that D.O.E.'s track

It's got more bounce than the version with hard hitting hats.. I think this one's fucking bumpin. Good good cruising music.

"And you don't gotta be scared of me, But you better beware of me. Think I'm frontin' let's hear and see..."
That for me is the dopest line in the song.

Everyone who likes beats like these should check out Jimi productionz and his song called Dirty. It would be perfect for Lil Jon.

Very hot beat. Why does Timbaland make great beats for obscure, unpopular rappers ?
