i hav a black lab rottweiler mix his name is moose because he is big he is about 4 years old and when he was three we had to take his eyes out because he got a disease so my has no eyes. he is the sweetest thing. he knows his way around the house and plays catch still. he is scared of the hallway leading to my room so he doesn't go there. and since we have like 6 cats he plays with them and eats all of our tables scrapes! MY MOOSEY!

@langelslshadowl i would totally recommend it they are amazing i have a female that will be 2 here in just a couple months she is a fantastic dog. Extremely laid back and loves to play. She is pretty big tho weighs 100
I once found a stray lab/rotty on my doorstep she came and slept there to get out of the pouring rain. My dad tried to chase her away the next day but she just came back and so we decided to adopt her. She became my best friend and companion for five years I loved that dog she always would protect me from other dogs and entertained me daily with her funny bark and endless energy. I had a dream about her the other night and she told me she left the old owner because he was mean.
Really makes me miss my old Labraweiler Mandy. She was an absolute sweetheart, more dominant rottie blood than lab blood though so her head was much thicker and she had a more pronounced crown. She weighed in at about 102lbs. We never really knew how old she was, mainly because she was a rescue pup, but we guessed about 12 when she passed away in her sleep one night. Great dog and absolutely loyal to the core. I was home on leave, and that dog stuck by me the whole time, last time I ever saw her

My favorite thing about her though (her name is Emmy), is in the sunlight you can see faint patches of brown on her. She's getting old now, but she still doesn't mind pinning me down and licking/nipping me :)

i had the same kind of dog but he got hit this past december 4:( (make my eyes water now just thinking about him). he was a very good dog...he would gaurd my food from other dogs and cats.. how many times you heard of that? lol he wouldnt even let my little 8 year old sister come in my room if i was sleep.

have the same mom was rott dad lab and he is 10yrs so take care and dont run them in the ground he has had a heat stroke , and a litle arthric and try to keep the males at about 85 to 95 pounds his name is bud , and he my boy,
yeah rottweilers and retrievers have a good chance at getting arthritis so i've heard =/ .. and dont worry i dont really run her, i walk her for 30 mins and she gets tired hahaha .. well i hope bud is doing fine =)

I got a black lab rotty mix too. She has a a lab head with a rotty body. The only brown part on her is her legs. Shes about 8 years old
