Ed & Bee also recorded two LPs for Swallow. This song, "Le veuve du lac blue," is from "Ed and Bee Deshotels chantent de la vie des cajuns," which has all traditional songs. Another LP, "Cajun Troubadors," has original songs in the same vein. Let's hope Swallow will reissue their recordings in their Cajun Pioneers Series!

The guy behind them playing the "'tit fer" (triangle) is Savy Augustin from Mamou, and the fellow playing the snare drum is Cursy "Pork Chop" Roy.

i think it`s not "la valse de lac bleu" but shure it is an waltz its called "le vague de lac bleu" the waves of Lake Blue. all the best Fabian
