This is why Buddhism dissappeared from Ancient India 2500 years ago, because the monks that came after the One did not enlighten to the original words of the Master.

It just shows how morality is dying, and this Western monk is hurting the the process of liberating Tibet, and even more seriously cause a big gap for the evil Chinese Communist Party to exploit.

No wish to offend you but You do not need to be bias or BS to see that Buddhism is being split by a western Faction of Buddhism. NKT for example.Not really the Buddhist way, So I believe you should take your robe off and not call yourself Buddhist if your not able to take guidance from the true spiritual leaders.For all the teachings involved in this practice you would think people would learn to be less Judgemental.! Dalai Lama is the head of Buddhism like it or not. Stick to the true path.

Since when Buddhism is under one single authority? There has been many others before Dalai Lama. There are many other Buddhists who don't practice Tibetan Buddhism. There are other paths before Tibetan Buddhism.

Buddhism, as I understand it, has many paths, Threvada, Mahayana, etc. Who has the authority to say Buddhists must all come under Dalai Lama?

Isn't that just like how Catholics belief things must come under one Pope while others Christians reject the Papacy?

Plus, I'm not Buddhist.

I agree there are many paths , I see your point, -- but if they are all Buddhists why are they attacking the Dalai Lama ? Seems non Buddhist !!! They are obviously not acheiving their objectives.

I suggest you look into videos and reports of how Dalai Lama crackdown on Dorje Shugden followers, doing excommunications which practically discriminated entire families and making threats, since DL is also a political/governmental figure in his exile community.

I do not think that the Dorje practice was stopped for political reasons. I heard it was a bad dream! The way this lady is talking in this video bolsters up my choice to stick to the original sourse. Who's head of the secret teaching dept ? ;) Whats the problem with giving up a teaching. Big Fuss. Seems to be a lot of attacks going on. True Buddhism "if you cant stand the heat , get out of the kitchen" well almost !

"True Buddhism"? Indian Buddhism has been established long before Tibetan Buddhism even exist. Threvada Buddhism has been there long before the Dalai Lama comes around. In fact, if you read history of "Dalai Lama" title, you'll find plenty of things indicating it doesn't really have much to do with being the 'true' Buddhism or otherwise. It's just Buddhism with embed political power into it.

I don't get your take: What's the problem with critiquing the DL and really scrutinizing the issue?

It is your duty as a thinking individual to question everybody and everything especially those in power. The dalai lama is a man no more no less.I'm sure he is a good man, but he is not beyond scrutiny.
