  • i do fish mate my pb is only 21kg , but why dont u report it and get a record next time u get one??

  • @scooterzrule12 Because fish this size are all females and pregnant and about to pup. We catch and release these, but we do keep the 15- 20 kg ones. We try to only take a photo then let them go. Have a look on Fishnet .com.au to see some of our larger fish.

  • id hate to sound like a dick mate but the world record is 30.8kg caught at mc loughlins beach

  • @scooterzrule12 You might be right, but our scales go upto 30 kg and we max them out. You can get them larger than 30 kg. Just because it wasn't reported officially doesn't mean it did not happen. Go out and have a go and if you are lucky l like us, its all luck not skill, you might get one too.

    Gday scooterzrule,

You'll find that there have been plenty of larger Gummys landed locally in Western Port far beyond 30.8kg.

    cheers,

    Mashyman

  • The sharks were medium size 10-15 kg. They were caught off Portsea. In this area we have caught many gummies over 30kg.
