  • Somewhat related question. I shoot a VTAC inspired carbine but have a S&W 15-22 as a cost efficient trainer. How important do you think it is to perfectly clone the feel of the primary carbine in a training aid? So far I have my VFG location and sling mounted the same way, so the stance and the up from ready is the same. I DON'T have a light mount, the same pistol grip or stock. This would be about $200 of accesories, what's more important?

  • Nice on the 1/8 barrel btw.

  • Damn it... Now I want the Vtac M&P9 and this... I guess I will buy both for my wife and hope she doesn't like them!

  • Looks like an excellent setup. How is the build quality of the S&W rifles? Will they hold up over time?

  • What's the difference between the Super V and the SSA-E?

  • good job +1

  • I noticed you guys use the thumb-over-bore grip on the rifle, but the light is low on the right side. To activate it, do you switch to a conventional grip with the VFG and use your thumb? I use a thumb-over grip so I'd like to know what your recommendation on light placement is.

  • I need one of those VTAC rifles

  • I need one of those VTAC patches

  • Did you travel to S&W in Massachusetts? They are a great group of people there.

  • Looks like a great carbine. What optics are you running?

  • What VFG is that?

  • @ryusekai Looks like the viking tactics ultralight vertical grip.

  • Didnt the VTAC 1 have a 1:7 barrel? Why the change?

  • @mcaseycole We wanted the best twist for the heavy bullets, this barrel shoots the 70-77’s great.

  • @VikingTactics Thank you sir for your service and this weapon. I shot the original and will buy this one. As soon as I can I hope to get out to NC and learn from you directly, but I am a civilian so hopefully I can find the spare time.

  • Great looking gun, what optic and mount are you running? Also, why not a different grip, like an ergo for example. I usually change out the standard for an ergo (my favorite). Just curious what you think. I have been in your class several times in Florida pistol and carbine. Keep up the good work love the vids too.

  • @peterc451911 I am running the Leupold 1-6 with a Alamo Four Star Mount.

We didn’t change the grip so folks can put what they want, so many choices.

  • Are the sling/light mounts ambidextrous?

  • Send some to Germany! I buy them strait away!

  • Nice!!!

  • What is the msrp?

  • Will we be able to order the SuperV trigger separately from VTac?

  • @rivemor Yes the Super V will be available soon from VTAC.

  • Looks very nice! Great to see that it comes with a Geissele trigger, they can't be beat

  • Looks good. I'm curious about that trigger. I have the 2 point vtac enhanced sling and I love it!!!!

  • I've been running the VTAC ! rifle for a while now and love it , dunno how the VTAC 2 rifle will feel , but knowing you guys it should be awesome.

Dunno about the switch to the Gisle trigger from the phenomenal JP single stage that came on the #1 but it looks interesting .

The only "upgrades" I could do to the #1 are good irons, anti rotation pins , Novseke QD endplate, Magpul BAD & trigger guard and a never quit grip.
