  • Oh! 1987! I was born in 2001 and this is my favorite song!

(Swedish theme is better - Joakim von Anka (Scrooge McDuck) Och Tre Knattar (And Three Younger schoolboys)

Scrooge McDuck And Three Younger Schoolboys according to Google Translate.

  • Did I mention I played slap bass in these songs?

  • 1987 was a big year for syndicated cartoons. This, Real Ghostbusters, Dinosaucers, Beverly Hills Teens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bravestarr, Woody Woodpecker, Bionic Six, Visionaries and Sky Commanders all began this year.

  • Where's Doc Brown, so I can use a DeLorean and travel back to the 1980's and 90's and watch these cartoons with my child self.

  • Disney needs to go back to making this style of cartoons, Ohg man damnit the world needs to go bacxk to the 80's style, everything!

  • If Disney Channel were to air these classic shows again, I'd definetly watch them.

  • i seriously just rocked out to this <3 they don't make em like this anymore *sigh*

  • The bass guitar is all over this track. Musically it is just plain good. Love the cartoon too :)

  • This is like the best theme song of all the awesome 90's cartoons.

  • @wardog3d this cartoon is from late 80s

  • Ben 10 and Bakugan sucks

  • That's the shortest episode I've ever seen :P

  • LOVIN the HD

  • I can describe this uber-catchy tune in four simple words......

    IT. WILL. NEVER. LEAVE!

  • Ahh, the good ole days!

  • I miss those bygone days.

  • ABSOLUTE ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!! BRING BACK THE CLASSIC CARTOONS!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING BACK THE MEMORIES OF SATURDAY MORNINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • BTW where did you find the vid for this? It's much higher quality than most of the other DuckTales intro/outro vids I have seen on Youtube. Thanx!! Also who is the other duck (not Scrooge, the other duck with the beard and kilt) at 0:55?

  • @starXelfXyeshua

    He has the DVD

  • @starXelfXyeshua Flintheart Glomgold.

  • Am I the only one here tearing up when hearing this? Especially the closing credits... :'(

  • @starXelfXyeshua

    I am tearing up too...

  • Why?

  • Seriously nearly every freakin' cartoon timeslot today is either a corny action beat em' up or full of idiots spending episodes doing stupid random things. Poor kids today, I'm glad I was a 90's kid.

  • @reflera603 Most cartoons today are like "what?!-oh-my-god-oh-my-god-I'm-running-around-watch-me-I'm-high!-WHAT-OH-MY-GOD-is-it-true-are-you-serious?!-hell-yeah!!!".

And this isn't even an exaggeration.

  • @Laurelindo Sad but true!

  • @sflnewstv2 Yeah, I know. =/

The characters are ridiculously energetic in every situation and some surroundings almost make you think the directors were on LSD or something - yesterday for instance I saw some weird character who was pretty much a mix between a giant turtle and a bus. <_<

  • I just had a horrible realization.

Kids nowadays will probably not hear this theme

  • @Shoenin I'm 13. I've heard this theme, and I love it. I've also heard Chip n' Dale. You 90s people had it good.

  • Nowadays, Disney Television is acting like Scrooge McDuck, being very greedy.

  • @mattjnor98 Good One. lol

  • @mattjnor98 This

  • why does other mickey mouse characters get their own shows, and not the mouse himself?

  • @BATTLEBEARSFREAK101 The Mickster did get his own show in the late 90's.

  • I was born in the 91 and it may have been already the last season for some of the great classics i feel very blessed that i was able to still see them until the very end. but now i think i should go revisit them all again.

  • they don't make em like this anymore

  • Loved this so much I've most of the series bought on DVD. And I'm 26

  • I feel like a very lucky person in my honest opinion to be born back when all of these classic shows used to be aired on the disney channel and toon disney channel.I remember I would always watch them in the morning time whenever I would wake up.Its a real damn shame that they dont air these kinds of shows anymore on television.

  • @Webbyneon89 Amen. We really had it good back when our generation was still very young.

  • i like too the disney logo that the castle has no fade and the music is choir

  • Wow...the memories are just flowing in right now :)

These are indeed classics for those of us who grew up with 'em.

  • this makes me wanna invite a time machine to go back and stop disney ruining all the tv shows

  • this makes me wanna invite a time machine to go back

  • My childhood ;(

  • lol Outro is that really what you call it? :D learned something! (its a first!)

  • is it just me or does this guy who sang the song really damn good! thats talent!

  • @stndrds79 He sang the shit out of this song with so much SOUL

  • in the Alter end on TV reruns

  • is it just me, or does this guy really know how to sing!?? i mean listen to how he says the words!

  • Memorable. That's All.

  • I know this is kind of off topic, but do you have any idea what that company (or union) is that has the byline "THIS PICTURE MADE UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF" with that five leaf clover thing underneath it? This is the only end credits video I found that I can make out the words, but I can't find what the actual company's called. This is right above "c 1987 The Walt Disney Company. All Rights Reserved."

  • @SallyAcorn09 The Five-Leaf Clover is the logo of the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees), they are the union that represents studio personnel.

  • The best of cartoon of Disney,Made in From: ''BRAZIL'' ''ROBÔDUCK 4EVER'''

  • What is it about this song that makes it so totally awesome and unforgettable? I think it's that kickass bass.

  • The cool thing about Ducktales is the instrumental exit was just as cool as the song with lyrics. Probably one of my favorite cartoons ever funny thing I was already like 8 when it came out but my sister was 4 and this was a cartoon we could both agree on. Good ole Disney keeping peace in the home yet again :)

  • One of the gretest cartoons ever made. This and Recess were my instant favorite Disney animated shows.

  • Most perfect opening ever, along with Chip'n Dale.

  • Best Quality on YouTube!

  • @ukrainesov21 Yep he gets his stuff off DVD's

  • I now know what it's like to be a little older and think about how things have changed. Back in the 80-90's you could look forward to cartoons after school. Now there's almost nothing.

  • one of the greatest cartoons ever back when cartoons were awsome like saturday mornings but all good things come to an end too bad for kids of today thou

  • @smoothrasin And it was DuckTales that paved the way for all the other kickass toons that eventually became part of the all-beloved Disney Afternoon programmings.

What tragedy that Disney has degenerated into nothing but a shadow of its former self, cutting corners for profits just like every other corporation out there

  • yes totally agree with shadeed nothing will ever be like these classic cartoons, its sad how bad they r 2day, thank god we were around back then!

  • Man it makes me wanna shed some tears, how much times have changed

  • @boyblaze yea it makes me a bit emotional when i get tht feeling of being little, then when i turn on the tv and see how times change and how things got to be so crappier. i cnt believe its 20 years now since tht show started hard 2 believe!

  • Yeah. 1984 is the year I was born. so much has changed after the year 2000. It's painful too.

  • boyblaze..wow you're lucky u got those years in the 80s i was born 1990 so i had 6 less but still alot has changed even from then, and my parents and friends cnt believe how much i remember even from when i was only 2 or 3 yrs old watching these shows and ill admit barney and sesame street were my favs as well as the Reading Rainbow lol

  • it's like they forgot to make good cartoons.

  • Right on! I was born in 1985 & after the year 2000,cartoons became painful to watch. We need a channel for old school cartoons.

  • @CC927 I'm an '85er too so I know what you're talking about completely.

  • @CC927 Amen, CC. I am an '86er (was born in July 1986) and agree with you 100%.

  • C'est cool de voir des gars comme toi de faire des vidéos R.E.S.P.E.C.T.S Man

  • Bonne image Bravo a toi tu a bien fait cet vidéos

  • Nuttin but the classics! Old times!!

  • @ShaDeed329 Amen to that

  • @ShaDeed329 like its just 10 years ago, its not that old times

  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN, "it's not that old times", Pokemonblast1?? ARE YOU CRAZY??!!

  • @Pokemonblast1 Actually, it's 24! (See the 1987 copyright?)
