1987 was a big year for syndicated cartoons. This, Real Ghostbusters, Dinosaucers, Beverly Hills Teens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bravestarr, Woody Woodpecker, Bionic Six, Visionaries and Sky Commanders all began this year.
Late 80's and early 90's Disney cartoons and all cartoons of the era are unbeatable no matter how much they try to remake it. I speak for everyone when I say long live the 90's
ABSOLUTE ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!! BRING BACK THE CLASSIC CARTOONS!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING BACK THE MEMORIES OF SATURDAY MORNINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW where did you find the vid for this? It's much higher quality than most of the other DuckTales intro/outro vids I have seen on Youtube. Thanx!! Also who is the other duck (not Scrooge, the other duck with the beard and kilt) at 0:55?
Seriously nearly every freakin' cartoon timeslot today is either a corny action beat em' up or full of idiots spending episodes doing stupid random things. Poor kids today, I'm glad I was a 90's kid.
@reflera603 Most cartoons today are like "what?!-oh-my-god-oh-my-god-I'm-running-around-watch-me-I'm-high!-WHAT-OH-MY-GOD-is-it-true-are-you-serious?!-hell-yeah!!!".
The characters are ridiculously energetic in every situation and some surroundings almost make you think the directors were on LSD or something - yesterday for instance I saw some weird character who was pretty much a mix between a giant turtle and a bus. <_<
I was born in '91 and it may have been already the last season for some of the great classics i feel very blessed that i was able to still see them until the very end. but now i think i should go revisit them all again.

I feel like a very lucky person in my honest opinion to be born back when all of these classic shows used to be aired on the disney channel and toon disney channel.I remember I would always watch them in the morning time whenever I would wake up.Its a real damn shame that they dont air these kinds of shows anymore on television.
I know this is kind of off topic, but do you have any idea what that company (or union) is that has the byline "THIS PICTURE MADE UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF" with that five leaf clover thing underneath it? This is the only end credits video I found that I can make out the words, but I can't find what the actual company's called. This is right above "c 1987 The Walt Disney Company. All Rights Reserved."
@SallyAcorn09 The Five-Leaf Clover is the logo of the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees), they are the union that represents studio personnel.
The cool thing about Ducktales is the instrumental exit was just as cool as the song with lyrics. Probably one of my favorite cartoons ever funny thing I was already like 8 when it came out but my sister was 4 and this was a cartoon we could both agree on. Good ole Disney keeping peace in the home yet again :)
I now know what it's like to be a little older and think about how things have changed. Back in the 80-90's you could look forward to cartoons after school. Now there's almost nothing.
one of the greatest cartoons ever back when cartoons were awsome like saturday mornings but all good things come to an end too bad for kids of today thou
@smoothrasin And it was DuckTales that paved the way for all the other kickass toons that eventually became part of the all-beloved Disney Afternoon programmings.
What tragedy that Disney has degenerated into nothing but a shadow of its former self, cutting corners for profits just like every other corporation out there
@boyblaze yea it makes me a bit emotional when i get tht feeling of being little, then when i turn on the tv and see how times change and how things got to be so crappier. i cnt believe its 20 years now since tht show started hard 2 believe!
boyblaze..wow you're lucky u got those years in the 80s i was born 1990 so i had 6 less but still alot has changed even from then, and my parents and friends cnt believe how much i remember even from when i was only 2 or 3 yrs old watching these shows and ill admit barney and sesame street were my favs as well as the Reading Rainbow lol
Oh! 1987! I was born in 2001 and this is my favorite song!
(Swedish theme is better - Joakim von Anka (Scrooge McDuck) Och Tre Knattar (And Three Younger schoolboys)
Scrooge McDuck And Three Younger Schoolboys according to Google Translate.
