It seems like single pipes sound louder because there is all that air pushing out one pipe...

NIce vid....I also own a 08 5.3 silverado and am looking into an exhaust system like this one....lol I wonder if your neighbors thought you went crazy or somthing and forgot where you lived as you pass your house over and over :)

do you ever have any problems between v8 and v4, with the deactivation. does it sound funny only running 4 cylinders?

if im not mistaken the 5.3l does not have the feature of shutting down 4 cylinders. I believe the 6.0l vortec max is the one that does:/

lol no. they both do. gm also has a v6 thats shuts down to 3 cylinders, its offered in cars such as the impala, malibu, and such. and trust me ur 2008 has 4 cyl deactivation. i have the same truck..

nah, the 5.3 does have it, you can get it in fuel management or the E85 flexfuel

How is the noise inside the cabin when cruising on the highway. I can't decide between touring or performance. One of the cool things about my silverado is how quite the cabin is on the highway for a truck. Thanks
