@madrus2 thats impossible because almost all of the models and textures of the game are in there.. if gta3.img doesn't exist why you could run San andreas? it must be somewhere in the your gta directory :)

I got a problem, i did exactly everything you explanined, i deleted "bobcat.dff" and "bobcat.txd", i then replaced it with a mod version and then clicked on rebuild archive, when i go back to my game i still see the original bobcat, i have tried this on many other cars too and end up with the same result. if i delete the vehicle completely without replacement i still see it....help

Hi their i tried several methods witch acqtualy all match up but when i statr the game again it dosent go more then 50% of the oading then it block my pc.

The 50% load problem is happening because your game is version 2.0

The only way you can mod the game is if you downgrade the game to v1.0

You can find the downgrade patch by doing a google search on "gta downgrade patch"

yes. i had the same problem but thanks to a friend of mine who doesnt want his name put out on the internet, he told me to search google for 'downgrade patch' and download it, than run the patch and start the game, . IT WORKS GREAT NOW AND THE GAME IS GREAT WITH MODS. hope this helps cuz it definatley helped me

well i forget now but when you dowload it i think you double click the file in the downgrade pathc file you just dowloaded. if you dont have to install the downgrade patch it should install itself. if you cant find where you put that file jsut re-install it. it wont affect your computer unless it is already installed into your game. and yes the police cars come with siren and lights.

umm you have to get gtasa sound modifier. i tried it but i didnt understand it so i didnt mess wiht it. you need to ask someone else about that cuz i really dont know. someone told what to do but i forget now. its hard so if your not good with comps u prob wont be able to do it. srry :(

people could just use san andreas mod installer and i think that all the modders should include a sami script with their mods. that's like i do it

yea, that's how i used to do it. but sami doesnt always do what i want it to. Like the colors of the car get screwed up and stuff sometimes.

but then you can use the text replace function, not the automatic car installation. just type in what text you want to replace and the new text. that way the text stays intact.
