Its lazy but effective, but i dont think you can get EVERY character that way. Im pretty sure to unlock sonic you have to complete the adventure mode.

I thought the easy way to get all the characters in brawl was to play adventure.Every time you get a new character in adventure it goes to your character selection menu.When I started I instantly when to adventure and when I was done when i played in brawl i had everyone.

It's a good way for brawl to get the characters, but a starter on brawl must get skills :P I don't mean this as hate spam, but I prefere the subspace emissary because That's fun, funny movies sometimes and you get to play with nearly every character in the game if you dont use the same ones every time, it is fun and give's skills, and it only took me 6 hours (with the skills from melee) but yeah, I used it to get stages :P wolf,toon link and jigglypuff are in de Sub. Emisarry too after tabuu :P
