Journalism Tricks 101: You spend a week or so interviewing a bunch of people, go back to the edit room. Take all the on camera dumb answers and follow them with other answers that may not have been from the same question. Once you sign a release form, you are fair game for them to use the footage however they like. I'm not saying those people weren't complete morons, but I'm sure a lot of people got them right too. Journalism Tricks 101: You spend a week or so interviewing a bunch of people, go back to the edit room. Take all the on camera dumb answers and follow them with other answers that may not have been from the same question. Once you sign a release form, you are fair game for them to use the footage however they like. I'm not saying those people weren't complete morons, but I'm sure a lot of people got them right too. A video was made like this about all Australians being racists.
