I have issues with plagiarism. For example:

Lennon cracked a smile for the first time that afternoon: He and Joseph actually saw eye to eye on something. (A line from a book)

He cracked a satisfaction smile knowing that David and him saw eye to eye on something that evening.(I edit to make it my own)

Or you watch a scene in a movie and try to follow it. Twist and turn it to make the line and situation different but almost the same scenario.

Is this plagiarism?

@auburn722 i know, my school thinks plagirism is like copyright, its ridicoilous! every sentance "you have to cite it" even if I knew it myself! My friend was in detention for 2 days because he "plagirized" 4 sentances.
