Ummmm does saying that Religion '...enslaves minds and hardens hearts." seem hostile and hateful to you? Gee, seems kind of tame what with religious extremists holding up signs saying "god hates fags,' and 'thank god for dead solders' on them.
Let's get this straight...in order to make your argument that the sign is not atheist hate speech against religious people, you have to equate religious people with Westboro's wackos? Thanks for making my case against atheist hate speech for me.
this is easy people...when a christian put a sign, sue the state,..when an atheist put a sign sue the state...after all..the supreme court declare atheism as a religion...all you need is a lawyer to do the job...by the constitution it i illegal for a christian or an atheist to put propaganda in public......
who has ever heard a sign speak. He must have been walking by and said to himself, 'Its a sign'! In what way was that hate speach in the same way that warnings on cigarrete packets, which, are a barage of vile abusive wordiness! Or maybe sneezing in a tube train is violent assault armed with a deadly tisue. When did the thought police turn into the holy swat team when did pc become policeing christ. We really are up shit creek if stating a difference of oppinion is hate speach!
So if I went to a nativity scene and turned one of the wise men around so that it looks like baby jesus was sniffing his butt wouldn't that be about the same thing. To alter a sign like that is pretty close to censorship and I would hate to think that someone gets elected that sort of thought control.
There wasn't anything hateful about that message. There is a lot of information needed to make a conclusion about this ordeal. for one was there any other displays also in the building? If so, then all displays must be allowed.
Is there anyone at this press conference - other than the cameraman? Just asking. "There will be no hate speech...especially during Christmas time." What was the hate-speech that you allude to? That tag comment - especially during Christmas time - leads me to believe that you may want to use your office as a means to allow only "sanctioned "unhateful" comments" during Christmas time...is that true? Why just Christmas time? Are you promoting Christmas as being more special than other times?
briguy1971 is the biased reporter Jim Anderson's relative. Hilarious.

If the grounds allow a nativity scene, then it damn sure allows this sign. Free speech extends to all, even if you don't agree with them.
