I have a situation I think You could help with it: I was able to flash Kmeaw (jailbreak) my ps3 (the first one it came out with 4 usb ports) and everything was fine(Multiman,ps3ftp etc.) I tried to install a spoof fo 3.60 so I could log into PSN, apparently installation was success I turned off my PS3 and when I turn it back on it didn't boot all the way, the screen is with no signal, I can go to restore screen, but ps3 won't find the usb with th .pup to reflash frimware.

What can You tell me?

I followed the E3 part of the vid and everything was ok, but when I executed the second half using the regular usb stick; the system was hanging for hours. I didn't know what to do, so I shut the system down, removed the usb and turned it on. Now my system won't turn on. Has anyone wlse had the usb hang for an enormously long time?? How is this fixed? Is the file that we are supposed to load onto the usb stick corrupt?? Please someone help me out.

Hey, did you have a long hang-time when you did the regular usb stick part of the video? The first half with the E3 card reader worked fine, but when I had the regular usb drive it, the system didn't shut off like Chris mentioned. It just hung for hours, so I shut the system off and messed it up. Would you possibly know how to get passed the hang-time?? Thanks!!

@ArmyDeUno How to Access Playstation Recovery Menu 1. Turn off Playstation®3.

2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.

3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps

4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.

5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button

6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

and his files work maybe you just made a mistake try again
