It's great on the wing when you keep passing to your overlapping player by dragging the ball behind and around you and then switching to a hocus-pocus when your defender trys to anticipate the pass instead you can get goal side of him works every-time.

Of course you could use it in a game. Not sure it's particularly well illustrated in the video though. In my opinion, the touch he takes before the actual hocus pocus/reverse elastico (whatever) to make the ball stationary in not really necessary, and takes the momentum out of the move, making it less effective. The trick could be pulled off without that touch, which would keep the momentum and make it much harder to defend against. It'd be harder, but it's doable and would improve the trick.
