Nice idea. But will tragically be corrupted, like so many initiatives before, by well-placed Maori stealing from their less well-off intended recipients of help. Followed by duck-shoving by those who took the money, and a natural sense of grievance by those not helped, and a failure to pin the blame on those who ripped it off.
Nice idea. But won't work, because Maori governance structures . . with great exceptions . . . are too often corrupt and not accountable.
