Hey Guitarsage, I have a question about pick placement while strumming. When you strum, do you hold the pick at a 45 degree angle parallel to the strings, or is it at a 90 degree angle? Thanks.

on your e-book you have strumming rhythm study.. and i am not quite sure what those numbers and pluss, means ?? when do you know to go up or down ????

the numbers are 1 2 3 4. and they are the down beats which means u strum down. and the plus's are the up beats which means u strum up

If I were you I would go down to the guitar shop and try all the guitars in your price range! Be careful of the super cheap guitars because alot of them have big time vibration and there strung wierd so they kill your fingers! I was very discouraged when I started with a cheapy! Yamaha makes several decent beginner guitars! I bought a small apx 500cutaway for a couple hundred bucks and it has great acoustic and plugged in sound for a beginner!
