  • @dobrev1dqd you create something as good as star wars or lord of the rings! oh wait you cann't so shut up

  • @Epicnazgulslayer No I am just an consumer like you and I fucking want the best things. Not some shitty prequel trilogy and stupid changes in the old ones to be re-re-re-released for some cash. And did I said something bad about LotR its my favourite movie you moron. Shut the fuck up douchebag. Just don't write comments then you don't know why you are writing them.

  • Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

  • I can't hold all these feels. LoTR is the best film trilogy of all time.

  • I'm a guy and I really did cry at the end of this movie. When Boromir died, Gimli Legolas and Aragorn decided to save Merry and Pippin, and when Frodo and Sam started walking towards Mordor. I freaking love Lord of the Rings.

  • If you want true serenity, listen to this + RainyMood. Literally NIRVANA

  • If I make it to Heaven and this isnt playing Im going to have a few words with Jesus

  • For some reason this song reminds me of the Band of Brothers theme

  • Wow

  • "I'm going alone Sam."

"I know you are, and I'm coming with you!"

Never underestimate the power of bromance.

  • @Fungul dont quote lotr and then use the term "bromance"

  • @EdzoIV4 Why the fuck can't he? That is exactly what it is 'bromance'. So get it up ye.

  • lets hunt some orc

  • I hope the hobbit soundtrack is this beautiful

  • I hope my life will have as much meaning as Frodo's had.

  • I am actually crying listening to this.Rest in peace JRR Toilken. Those who feel the same post a comment.

  • "I wished it need not have happened in my time"

"So do I, and so do all who live to see such times: But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." <3

  • It's physically and mentally impossible to actually dislike this song or any of the songs from the lord of the rings movies, I can't understand how people can push dislike on these kinds of videos, they must be deaf. It's the only explanation I can come up with xD

  • This moment is a underrated in the films. The music fantastically represents the death of Boromir. The reason why it is so significant to the quest for the ring is Boromir was one of the greatest warriors in the history of Middle-Earth. The scene represents a loss of hope from the death of a good friend in the fellowship, and great champion on the side of men. It also shows that even heroic characters have human flaws of greed ( boromir's arguement with frodo) this part always touches me.

  • @YukonDean That is one of the most beautiful things i ever read.

    you deserve credit

  • @Chazzthebest1, lol the same for me. When I went to go see this movie I was like, that sounds so similar to Titanic. and i got goosebumps lol. I love it.

  • H usually ends up dying

  • 3:34

    ''Let's hunt some orc.''

  • RIP Ned Stark..I mean Alec Tre..I mean Boromir

  • @StupidWizardFilms Major Richard Sharpe? easily one of his best roles.

  • @redsofanfield Does he die in that role?

  • @StupidWizardFilms Not yet... there's been 9-10 tv movies already

  • @redsofanfield SEAN BEAN Y U DIE IN ALMOST EVERY MOVIE???

  • This is MUSIC.

  • I love the flute in this song and the titanic they always give me chills.

  • when the cold of winter come

  • Comment removed

  • even darkness must pass. and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer!

  • The strength of the Ring-bearer is failing

  • A truly masterpiece. What Tolkien left us is of unimaginable value, and also everybody who took part in the making of this wonderful creation including Howard Shore, Peter Jackson, etc. It is incredible what mankind is capable of achieving.

  • I don't think any other song in this world affects me as much as this one does. :'( .

    So beautiful.

  • I genuinely feel bad for the people who will never understand the beauty of Lord of the Rings

  • *SPOILER ALERT TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T READ TEST OF THE TWINS!* To anybody who knows of Raistlin Majere and has read the Test Of The Twins:Do you ever think of that moment... where Raistlin is starring out of the abyss at Caramon... wishing he could fallow him to safety... at 5:00 until the end of the song?

  • @ILoveTobyTurner12 It's been so long since I read that book, I should reread it

  • Every time I lose my drive I come here

  • @TheGobbledeegoop same here.

  • I just shudder everytime I hear it..wonderful feeling...<3

  • This has to be what heaven sounds like.

  • That flute, is where I breakdown.

  • Oh no. That flute kills me everytime. You can't NOT cry.

  • Let us hunt some orc!

  • the song is all I need

  • @WolfAssassin gottem :D When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But in dreams I can hear your name And in dreams We will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come, to end of days In the dark I hear a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again
  • @BAFLOD thanks!

  • where can i find the lyrics to this song??

  • @WolfAssassin369 When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But in dreams I can hear your name And in dreams We will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come, to end of days In the dark I hear a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again
  • @waiting4it2happen thank you! much appreciated!

  • i cried so hard when Frodo and Sam have their discussion. @MrWhiteCoffie and @swordhunter12 you guys are awesome for putting those qoutes up. thx for postn my fav part.

  • This will be played at my funeral. I already announced it to my family.

  • 'It all depends on what you want. You can trust us to stick to you through thick and thin-to the bitter end. And you can trust us to keep any secret of yours-closer than you keep it yourself. But you cannot trust us to let you face trouble alone, and go off without a word. We are your friends, Frodo.'

    -Merry

  • I feel like crying...

  • "Well, that isn't so bad."

  • "End? No, this is not the end.The journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path....one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain rolls back and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it.....White Shores.. and beyond, a far green country, under a swift sunrise."

  • @damianjr73 dang dude, where did you learn to write so good

  • was this the song after gandalf fell off the bridge?

  • @hornsr1 No, that was the last part of "Bridge of Khazad-Dum" :)

  • This is my favorite track in the whole trilogy, along with Concerning Hobbits and The Riders of Rohan

  • Stunning.

  • I made a promise, Mr. Frodo, a promise.

"Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee."

    And I don't mean to, I don't mean to...

  • When the singing begins, I get the most wonderful-feeling chills up and down my spine.

  • Listen this while you're doing your homework.I got an A+ !:)

  • @Alexia121000 Can't do that, I'll be distracted by the music reimagining the scene in my head until I forgot to do homework

  • Just masterpiece....

  • i love the lotr soundtracks

  • "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."

"So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." -Gandalf, man.

  • Comment removed

  • "Do not regret your choice of leaving him, Aragorn." - Gandalf

  • The last time music this good was written was back in the Romantic era of music. Hail to the rebirth of Romanticism!

  • 23 people must have so much hate in their hearts... what a shame.

  • 1:46 gives me chills every time

  • QQ My favourite soundtrack.......

  • ''I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the White City fall, nor our people fail.''

''Our people, our people. I would have would have followed you, my brother... my captain... my king.''

''Be at peace, Son of Gondor''

  • i cry

  • I love the comments on the LOTR soundtrack videos, there is so much love, a very rare thing in the world of Internet, and you know that the last viewer feels the same way as you do.

  • LOTR has the best musical scores rivalling even Star Wars I think

  • @Broogan13287 LOTR is way better than Star Wars in my mind.. And I love star wars

  • @gamer9726 You can't even compare those two. Totally different type of films. LotR is just my fav movie of all time. And I love star wars as well, but it's different

  • @gamer9726

Star Wars is a true masterpiece but comparring the music with the music in LotR i think Lotr wins.

Howard Shore has made something no one else will ever be ale too.

  • @gamer9726 Thinking just the same. I was always comparing them. They're both a part from my life and I love them equally. But LotR is the fantasy of a man, the story came from his heart and mind - J.R.R.Tolkien. The story(sceneplay) of Star Wars was made by Lucas but the credits include also a large bunch of people. And it was made for the screen not for the mind. I'm one of the biggest Star Wars fans out there but LotR surpases it in every way. Won't mention Lucas raping the franchise.

  • @dobrev1dqd no no im the biggest

  • @dobrev1dqd How can he rape the franchise, it is his creation, if you don't like his artistic vision well, too bad

  • @dragondisaster If his artistic vision is throwing shit at you are you going to stay there and catch these? No ofc. I can give you probably hundred reasons why the prequel trilogy sucked and how bad the changes in the original one are.I won't bother you with this. If know what Star Wars actually is, you should know.Lucas was a pure genius for creating the universe. Why doesn't he just leave it be the way it is? We all know why-money.Only cause there are some who still like his "artistic" vision

  • @dobrev1dqd I love the first trilogy more than the prequels, but it is Lucas' vision so its not his problem for making it, but your problem for not liking it. Imagine if books 5 to 8 of Song of Ice and Fire were not like the fanfiction, would George RR Martin be raping the franchise? Should we be telling Rowling how to write Harry Potter 7, Frank Herbert how to write the last Dune books, all so they fit what fans want and not the author

  • @dragondisaster You surely got point but don't you think that there is moment when a movie is left completely for the public. For more than 30 years Lucas is still changing the old trilogy. I am far from telling Lucas how to create his movies, but when you make something original and the audience likes it you don't start remodelling cause it doesn't fits your current state. There were countless changes in the old trilogy over the years. When you mention Harry potter and the other stuff >>>

  • @dragondisaster it is about originality. Im talking about "enchancements" in the movies like replacing Darth's head in the dvd ver of ep 6. About ruining the magnificent atmosphere in the movie. I won't say a word about the new trilogy cause for me that's not Star Wars.

  • @dobrev1dqd Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as long as you don't consider yourself a truer fan than those who like the prequels. I hate those idiots

  • "End? No, this is not the end.The journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path....one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain rolls back and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it.....White Shores.. and beyond, a far green country, under a swift sunrise."

  • Let's hunt some Orc!

  • i just love all the top comments on all the LOTR soundtracks :)

  • I love how when ever i need a quote from lord of the rings i come to youtube... :)

  • Frodo: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone.

Sam: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.

  • @MrWhiteCoffie "I made a promise Mister Frodo, a promise! "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee" and I don't mean to."

  • This music makes me dream of a day where the world has everlasting peace, and i can just picture the amazing beauty of the world once that is achieved. why do we fight for lost causes, if we united the world would be so much better. Play lotr music everywhere, world peace will be established in a heartbeat haha

  • Gandalfs death... idk but this is what i think when i hear this song, not frodo and sam leaving, but when gandalf first dies.. thumbs for the best character in this movie? :D

  • I can't express in words how much i love The Lord of The Rings, it's like a place i would want to go when i'm gone in this world, or as Bilbo would say: I think i'm quite ready for a new adventure.

but now enjoy this world, for it has much to offer and it's beatifull, just look at the right place.

  • The Lord of the Rings films are the greatest films that ever were, and ever will be.

  • 23 people searched up breaking dawn , pfft really nobody would search that

  • 23 people were slayn by the Uruk Hai

  • The Road goes ever on and on

Down from the door where it began.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

And I must follow, if I can,

    Pursuing it with eager feet,

Until it joins some larger way

Where many paths and errands meet.

And whither then? I cannot say.

    ~Bilbo Baggins

  • 23 people are fucking retarded.

  • @Ununoctium1337 that's all that needs to be said

  • Fucking shit this when you think about it

Ride the eagles there and back daft midget cunts

  • @1Matt8Morris2 they coudnt do that because of the nazgul you stupid ignorrant idiot

  • 2:15 amazing

  • @hazardous1990 you have no idea :)

  • @HardyBoy55929 wrong quote dude.... That's when they were in moria. This track is when frodo runs away in the boat and Sam comes up, almost drowning, wants to come along. Frodo helps him in and Sam says Sam: I made a promise, Mr Frodo. A promise. "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee." And I don't mean to. I don't mean to.

  • @mathewleemeixner in the movie this song comes up as frodo is about to cross the river and he has a flashback to when gandalf said that back at moria

  • @keeker1996 they play the hobbit theme countless times during the lord of the rings. Go check out The Lord of the Rings Complete Recordings. There it will have the unabridged music. The Soundtrack turns out (disappointingly) to cut songs here and there and make them all into one big, happy ending!

  • Sam: I made a promise, Mr Frodo. A promise. "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee." And I don't mean to. I don't mean to.

  • Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."

Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do in the time that is given to us."

  • Why the fuck is Pirates of the Caribbean on the related videos ?

  • "I'm glad you're with me Sam."

  • 23 Uruk-Hai fell off the waterfall.

  • This track is just so goose-bump-raising ^_^

  • By rights this score won the Best Original Soundtrack at the Academy.

  • I remember the first time i saw this, i had to be about 6 or 7 and coming out of the movie theater after boromir died i was just bawling, and the three times i went to the movie theater to see it again yielded the same results. Such a beautiful ending with a beautiful soundtrack in a beautiful movie.

  • @theevilm1 You said like a pro, dude. :'(

  • damn i cant wait to hear what howard shore does for The Hobbit soundtrack

  • gollum has 20 accounts and smeagle has 3

  • Can someone help, I don't find the song we hear when Gandalf escapes from Isengard? And the one when he " dies " in the Moria.

  • "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."

"So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

  • Glad I am for reading yout comments to this music, I thought for some moments I was the nerdest person on Earth, for being so in love with the extraordinary sensations that this music provokes me... long live Mr Howard Shore, Peter Jackson and thank you God Tolkien, for being able to create this amazing world where we are so invited to dream in.

  • You just must shed a tear while listening to this song! It's so incredibly emotional and beautiful! <3

  • This song makes me forget all of the ugliness in the world and think of a better place. Thank you LOTR and thank you Howard Shore.

  • @greenleafelf amen

  • thank you howard shore, for composing such soul touching music :)

  • Allow me to cry without shame.. this song brings back so many memories. I will forever love Lord of the Rings!

  • "I'm glad you're with me Sam"

  • No words can describe what LotR means, (not without three books, at least) but this song does it perfectly.

  • I remember being 4 and my brother 6 and my mother reading this and the hobbit to us as a bed time story. 13 years on and i still love them oh so much

  • lets hunt some orc

  • manly tears of manliness have been shed

  • @G00t

They're being shed right now! I CAN'T. HELP. IT.
