Religion is an important part of people's lives in Iran. Both men and women are required to dress modestly and with humility. Groups of affluent young Iranians want more freedoms like removing the "maghneh". Others want things to stay as they are. The thing you need to remember is that every society needs to choose its own future. Try not to judge what you don't understand or want to learn about.
