There's 2 versions of this sword. One steals health; the other you can hit people with in town and they don't consider it as assault unless you kill them.

i like two handed weppons, but i leveled up my single hand weppon perks so much that i can take down a dragon with a steel sword. i love elven weppons and armor and i love dwarven weppons and armor. the only ebony weppon i have is the small axe. which is really good. all the weppons i use are superior. goodbye fine forging

i got it no problem, hung it on the weapon rack of my whiterun house, then left.... later returned to find it missing. so i advise everyone to keep it on you or stash it in a chest.... DONT PUT IT ON YOUR WEAPON RACK.

@ZPFenixFromFlames Not sure if your question for the blade's been answered yet, or if you've figured it out, it's been quite some time that you made the video from now and then, but to get the blade up to it's original form you do kill people that you've become friends with. Got caught trying to take the key from the wizard, so I killed him, got the key, ran past guards to the door, took the blade and killed everyone I could that I was friends with, even Lydia. Terrorized Whiterun. Huge fine. :)

@gaminggodization Hey retard, the ebony blade is 1 weapon you CAN'T improve through arcane blacksmith, I've tried.  The only way to improve this is by levelling your skills and killing people who trust you (friends, followers etc). But feel free to post THREE similar comments, just to make sure that you look like the dumbass!

Steel Helmet of Restoration

Dwarven Armour

Dwarven Bracers/Gauntlets of Archery

Cuffed Steel Boots of Resist Frost

Now I wear Legendary Ebony Armour (including Ebony Mail) with various enchantments (2 per piece) and it's pretty awesome. I know Daedric is better, but I think Ebony looks nicer.

@UNHAPPYMEXICANS I guess it's personal opinion. Sure the base damage sucks, but it acts like a 1 handed weapon (low damage, but high speed) and the health absorb has unlimited uses. I tried enchanting other weapons with health absorb, but with a health absorb of 20, it got 77 uses and I'm 100 for enchanting and was using a grand soul gem :(

@ZPFenixFromFlames have you gotten the deadric artifact ebony mail yet its basicly a much powerfull ebony armor not fully smithed but when you crouch it lets off a posin smoke anyone near you will get hurt like if they were posioned you wont though

Looks great and the fact it helps you move quieter is cool, plus the poison effect is funky, although it does get annoying when you're trying to shoot someone with a bow and arrow while sneaking and the poisonous cloud gets in the way, so you can't really see who you're aiming at in the distance. :(

@MikeFoSho95 according to some of the info i have recieved is that the ebony blade actually uses the one handed skill and abilities while being a two handed weapon something to do with Mephala's characteristics of being the lord of decite and lies; additionally as you kill your own companions it will become even more powerful.
