Firefox can download youtube .flvs. and vdownloader(PC program, can download, and convert youtube videos to many formats, im sure there's something like that for mac.

Yeah firefox needs an add on though, it's called downloadhelper.

dude, when you watch a video, it's stored in your /tmp folder. Just copy it out of there. No need to download...

You do know that it is much easier to use Safaris Activity-Window to download content from Youtube? Just double-click on the Video in the activity-monitor of Safari and it downloads
