What was the song on the flipside of the tape? I used to listen to it all the time and now i can't find any trace of it. It was an 80's synthesizer song. I'd love to hear it again.
With Cybertron, you can move and shoot diagonally using the vertical and horizontal keys together. Years ago I mapped out all the levels by pausing the screens. Another way to get points is to move back and forth between two rooms and just shoot everything. Its fun waiting for the ghost and firing a few rounds into it. It turns blue and pauses for a second or two.
Dunno, I suspect with a lot of Beeb games, it just sits there with the same items ad infinitum until your Lewis Hamilton level of concentration wanes ever so slightly... I've got to the 2nd item on Level 3, I got too tired of it to play any more.
@quelian What was it like at level 5? I only ever got to level 3 when I had the Beeb. The 3rd level had purple monsters, looked a bit like daleks IIRC, and you had to collect 3 items. I've no idea what levels 4 and 5 were like.
Um, yes it does, it's just you have to move in a diagonal to fire in a diagonal - with those electric walls so close by, diagonal movement usually results in a fry up... ;)
Spent many a day playing this game, cant remember if i ever completed it. Of course this was back in the days of no saves! Thanx for posting this retro classic

I think we got to at least level 5, possibly higher. I seem to recall it goes back to the beginning but that might be a false memory

I just looked it up in Wikipedia - it has four levels and goes back to the beginning but with more monsters and different colours. Happy memories.

Same here, I only reached level 3. That must have been a good 20 years ago for me :-)

this is not very good even in the days when it was released. There is no firing at 45 o angles.
