I want what Oteil is smoking hahaha. Seriously though, I was at this show, and while the Brothers were a bit rusty because of how quickly the concert came together and they weren't in their usual "Beacon Groove," it was still an incredible show, and Natalie Cole stunned everyone in the audience.

Something I learned last night was that Natalie actually plays Whipping Post in her band! When she saw it on the Brothers set list she knew she wanted to share the vocals! :)

Derek Truck's slide playing is just a bunch of scritchin and skreetchin! I've heard him play clean in the past but anymore when he pulls out his lide I just cringe.

@kc12112 Is that a good cringe or a bad cringe? Hahaha, anyways I actually think that Derek's slide playing has gotten worse in the past few years, technically speaking. He's drifted away from some of the jazz and miscellaneous techniques that he overused but nonetheless used in 2003-2009. Still one of the greatest to ever lay eyes on an axe and the greatest slide guitar player of all-time.
